Let's see how good Saints are in defending a lead.

A nice novelty not to have to wait for VAR.

Che Adams hits the target!!

Stephens gives away a stupid free kick.

We'll probably be getting 10 minutes added time at this rate as well.

Stu driving forward creates a chance. Need more of that.

Che comes on to see if he can miss a sitter.

Saints trying to walk it into the net.

AA has apparently had 2 touches this half. Time for subs.

Far too blunt in attack. It's a longstanding problem though.

If I were a betting man I'd be placing 50p on 2-1 to Weds.

Typical.

Don't forget that Saints tend not to win on the opening day

I'm a Saints fan so worry even if 3-0 up at half time. A one goal lead is nowhere near enough to calm the nerves.

Well in control but only one goal. If that's enough then fine but Wednesday are bound to lump a couple of dangerous chances together. Need to win this 3 or 4.

With all these yellow cards we'll be seeing games of 9 v 9.

How is that not a yellow for Windass?

Am I being too harsh in thinking that we need to be more ruthless in the attacking areas?

I worry slightly that it's still only 0-1.

Wednesday will get chances. Need to put them to the sword.

Need to get a second and put this game to bed.

Great start.

That defending looked a bit desperate.

Not sure whether I prefer to be a big fish in a small pond or a small fish in a big pond. Nerves either way.

Blimey! Seems less than straightforward. Presumably VPNs will be getting a dusting down.
