Commentators don't seem to understand why Welbeck was penalised. It's because Welbeck isn't allowed to play the ball twice without another player touching it after the penalty.
I suspect Saints will manage to grab enough points to avoid sliding into the bottom 3 this season but it's next season that I'm worrying about. Any decent Saints players are not going to enjoy losing every week so will likely be off. Likewise the prospect of another struggle next season won't attract talent either.
