Ball retention is pretty awful to be honest. Not sure how Stephens managed to miss what was basically an open goal either.

Saints off the pace in this one. Final pass not really good enough. WHU look a strong side. You just know that Snodgrass will score.

A bit more composure on the break and Saints could have another one at least.

Saints seem to have gone off the boil. Should really have been out of sight by now.

This is much better from Saints. Ralph has them playing with some good intensity and nice to see us regain the lead after being pegged back. Should help with confidence.

We were getting to grips with the game in the 2nd half. Ok so we weren't creating much (as usual) but Saints were looking comfortable. But who wasn't waiting for the massive screw up that would hand a goal to Cardiff? So damn predictable. Also predictable that we wouldn't get an equaliser. Ralph certainly has his work cut out.

Average at best. Defensively as poor as any other combination tried so far. Once again I don't think we look fit enough. Cardiff will probably target Valery for a 2nd yellow. I'd be thinking of replacing him. His time will come.

I suspect the new man in charge will have already noticed that fitness levels, both physical & mental, are not good enough to survive at Premiership level. If he can do something about that then we might stand a chance of surviving this campaign.

If the new management can do something to stop the steady stream of leaking goals then maybe Saints will stay up. On current form, no chance.

I'm still trying to fathom what role JWP was trying to perform during that first 45 minutes. It would have been tempting to sub him inside 30 minutes.
