Already Saints don't look up for this game either.
-
Good Villa performance. Liverpool were woeful. Rather than hope Arsenal win the final I suppose Saints could actually try scoring some goals and try winning a few games.
-
As an attacking force Saints are pretty blunt. Hardly peppering the goal are we?
-
Saints crosses into the box invariably find a defender.
-
The problems in attack have been building for months without being addressed. There's still time to stop the season turning into a damp squib but things don't look good at the moment.
-
A few shots from distance for a change. Poorly executed though.
-
Poor in final third ... again!
-
Well maybe Saints should try shooting at goal more often. JWP needs to find out how to put the ball in the net too.

Just knew it.

Post-Match Reaction: SAINTS 1-1 Ipswich Town
obelisk replied to Saint-Armstrong's topic in The Saints
Saints inability to convert chances into goals would seem to have struck again. Oh well. Replay it is then. -
Lucky to have been out doing something else last night by the sound of it. Looking at the stats it would appear to be the same old story though. Plenty of possession leading to very little in the way of shots at goal. I take it Saints were trying to walk the ball into the net again. The suspensions mean that the Everton game might find things turning even nastier. Hopefully a corner can be turned before this turns into a freefall.

Once again. Defensive errors combined with profligacy in attack.
-
Two goals gift-wrapped to v. Persie.
-
Unlucky Saints. Injuries are starting to cost us points. Just as a matter of interest though. Has anyone ever seen Mayuka have a good game?
-
My stream isn't all that good but it looked to me that Pelle nodded that in. Good time to equalize though.
-
Admittedly Pelle was poor today. I thought he improved 2nd half but surely even he himself will be disappointed with his efforts so far. It's early days yet though. I can only imagine though that a lot of "fans" have never actually played much themselves. If they think that constant ridiculing is likely to improve a player's performance then maybe they misunderstand the mind of a human being. Still, they need a scapegoat and I can see where it's heading sadly.

Dreadful game. Dreadful stream. At least there's a point on the board.
-
Those that seem to spend their entire lives posting here are unlikely to be representative of Saints fans in general.

What to the board need to do to gain back the trust of the fans?
obelisk replied to maysie's topic in The Saints
I don't think anyone really knows whether a particularly large number of fans have lost trust in the board. Obviously there's some disgruntlement at the loss of a number of star players but they've been lured away by big money. Any board would have struggled to keep them but at least the current incumbents have negotiated large sums in return. Can I suggest that it'll all come down to performances on the pitch? A poor start and there'll be disgruntlement. Anything other than that and people will just get on with supporting the players that do want to put on the red & white. -
Anyone know why he was denied a USA visa? Was it something to do with moral turpitude?
-
A tidy profit made on a slightly better than average defender. The bloke obviously prefers to sit on the Scousehampton bench looking at his groaning bank balance so not sorry to see him depart if that's his attitude. Plenty more out there to replace him.
-
Poor finishing again.
-
I prefer to avoid the regimented branded clothes - admittedly very difficult. Glad Saints are doing the same.

It was a fairly flippant remark but maybe 80% or so will be looking for the safety zone. We seem to have arrived at a point where just a few teams can aspire to great things. The rest tend to be looking over their shoulders.
