This could easily have approached 0-9.

Saints get into a good attacking area outside the Utd penalty area and then the ball goes back and back and back until it's given away with Utd having a shot on goal. That's hopeless.

Any optimism from the first 30 minutes has completely evaporated.

If anything Saints have got worse this half. Backwards passing has returned and hardly making any progress over the half way line. It's like they've given up. But here come the subs.

Saints slightly more direct in attack but still over-passing and missing runs off the back of Utd's defence. Doesn't help if missing with a free shot from 12 yards out though.

Ever since that penalty miss Saints have just fallen apart. Stephens playing 3 attackers onside for their first goal and the 2nd was just a shambles. Ramsdale playing a blinder otherwise it'd be even worse.
