  1. Been trying to post something like this for ages when I get a sudden rush to the head Very well said. Could give a screw what league we're in.
  2. Also, Michael Kightly who is their main playmaker is out too Quietly confident about tomorrow. They're very nervous too with Brum chasing right up their arse.
  3. I have mixed feelings. Of course the Premiership would be nice and a bit of success, obviously, but I prefer the all standing, all singing, proper atmosphere's you get in the Championship.
  4. Well I had been told 1,300. Not sure about the reliability of that though. If so, that's immense. I would have expected about 500-700 to have come tomorrow. EDIT: The 1,300 I had been told was absolutely ********. Mate who had got his tickets and supposedly asked how many had been sold and was told 1,300, is lying.
  5. If I'm honest, if there were no financial difficulties. I'd rather have 20k at home against a Championship team with Itchen North open, Itchen and Northam both standing and singing like it was last season, over the Premiership with everyone in the ground sitting, with a full house and making no ****ing noise. Reason this has come out because I have recently watched a season review from 03/04 and the atmosphere seemed, and in those times was, dire. Also, David, how many have been sold for Wolves so far?
  6. I was also told we're expecting a crowd of 21-22k. Can everyone in block 4, or at least in the upper half bloody sing please?
  7. Block 4 was where all the atmosphere was on Saturday, in the Itchen. I think blocks 2 and 3 were all sat.
  8. Leave the M6 at Junction 10 and take the A454 towards Wolverhampton. Continue to follow the A454 right into Wolverhampton (be wary of speed cameras on the A454). On reaching the traffic island that intersects with the ring road, turn right. As you approach the 2nd set of lights look for the signs for football parking. The ground is over the 2nd set of lights on the right. Alternatively if you turn left into the city centre you may find a space in one of the many council run 'pay & display' car parks. The Civic Hall car park, normally remains open for night matches.
  9. The Watford fans are having a bit of a go about our club/support on their match thread..
  10. Apparently 1,300 have been sold. If this is true, that is absolutely ****ing immense. Now, Wolves stewards are awful so are likely to try and enforce the seating rule. Can we stand please? If enough do, they won't be able to do anything.
  11. Am going. Can we please stand, and sing for 90 minutes again . Anyone that's wondering about going or not, please do come. Don't be tempted by Sky.
  12. I agree. I couldn't give a **** what league we're in next season. I just want the support and the love for the club to be exactly the same. LETS ****ING MAKE EVERY AWAY DAY, EVERY SEASON LIKE THIS OKAY?
  13. I'd like to applaud everyone that travelled tonight. Support was immense. I've only missed a handful of games all season and I think that was by far and away the best support we've had on the road. Vocally was much better than Reading away. Mental second goal celebrations too.

    Watford away

I've accepted relegation, and that we may lose tomorrow night. But hey, this maybe be one of the last times I ever get to watch Saints, so as always I'm making the most of it. I'm singing tomorrow night not to cheer the lads on, but purely for my love of this club.
  15. Come anyway . Just promise to stand and sing.
  16. You'll be pretty much guaranteed to get a ticket tomorrow night. We won't sell out the 400 on the night, no chance.
  17. We won't sell out the 400 on the night. Maybe 100 will be bought on the gate, 200 maybe at most, but we won't completely sell out. You're very likely to get tickets, just turn up at like 6.30-7 if you want to be sure.
  18. Exactly, but they can only deduct the points next season because we've gone past the date where points are deducted this season. However if we stay up this season, the points are taken off this season, which is highly unlikely for us to stay up anyway I think. I'm pretty sure no matter what we will be in League One next season. But I couldn't give a rats arse. That's irrelevant compared to the thoughts going through my head of there being no club even in existence to support next season.
  19. Can everyone make a pledge to stand and sing as much as they can at both?
  20. I presume he means double escape as in surviving relegation in the league and avoiding any points deduction through the loophole in the Football League rules?
  21. The club is the thing I care about. The history, the fans, the matchday experience. The club and fans will be here when odd individuals have gone. I'm sure a great deal more people in Southampton support the club that care about an art gallery. Surely you must agree with that?
  22. Didn't say they are active, did I? Just there's 200,000 people who are on the database, and I reckon a fair few of them, as I'm sure you'd expect would be Southampton fans. In excess of 100,000 of them, anyway. Could you honestly say that you think more people in Southampton care more about the art gallery than support the club?
  23. 60-70% of people on the database are one time buyers? Do you just make things up to suit you? Seriously, and honestly, who really gives a **** about paintings? I'd say a lot more people in Southampton care about the club, or the benefit the club has on the community, such as catering, local shops, pubs, and the general area on match day, than they care about a ****ing art gallery.
  24. Yes. Unless we manage to escape the drop this season, then they just shove the points on for this season anyway. So basically no matter what we will be in League One next season, unless we survive by more than 10 points - highly, highly unlikely. Unless of course we have found this loophole in the F.A rules, and escape without a points deduction. But I'm pretty sure we'll go down anyway.
