  1. I agree, I just don't like the fact that a large percentage of our support that is like that. (The packed lunch prawn sandwich brigade). Whilst we still do sing a fair amount, not many do for 90 minutes. I wish our support was better tbh.
  2. I fully agree. Away days when I end up having to sit down, because of some moaning old git that just wants to sit there and clap when we score, ****s me off. I tend to move up the back nowadays anyway.
  3. We should pretty easily take the 2,800. Seen as last season was midweek and this time round it's a Saturday.
  4. That's Forest a few points ahead of us now. Charlton look pretty much relegated if we're honest. I can't see us getting out of this, though.
  5. Shut up you complete and utter, glory hunting ****. ****ing no doubt your "Manchester United till you do", yet do you actually live anywhere ****ing near Manchester? People like you, or anyone like your 22 year old make me absolutely sick.
  6. I am pretty sure we do have undersoil heating at SMS.. and there was a game called off against Crystal Palace midweek a few seasons ago.
  7. In all honesty Rupert wouldn't get any of them in. They would cost bucket loads and wouldn't be "yes men."
  8. Recently back myself. What a ****ty day.
  9. HOW HAVE MAN UNITED FANS ALREADY MANAGED TO GET ****ING TICKETS!?!?! I will be going definitely. Only missed 2 games this season home or away. Will be brilliant to see the Itchen North back to it's best. Well lets hope so unless there's Man United fans that have got tickets in there.
  10. I see the Itchen end arising, I hear there's trouble on the way, don't go out tonight, unless you're red and white, I hear there's trouble on the way..
  11. Hartlepool
  12. No. The fact that I haven't missed more than 3 games a season for about 10 years would back up my statement.
  13. What a top, top day out. Everyone deserved a 10 in my books I didn't really notice much of who was playing well or who was even playing. Support was magnificent. Didn't sit down or stop singing for the full 90 minutes. I can barely speak at all now. Oh I do love this football club, very, very much.
  14. I hope to god it's not like a lot of games where we have a big following and some are sat down and don't sing. If you are behind me and telling me to sit down next Saturday you will be told in no uncertain terms to **** off. And I shall be having a party no matter what the score as we all expect to lose.
  15. My perceptive of the game.. Lallana was man of the match, and no one particularly played that badly at all. Never a ****ing sending off in a million years. The ref was a complete and utter ****. Atmosphere was one of the best we've had at SMS this season. Wolves fans were awful, sat down and hardly got a peep from them. Itchen North was singing and all stood up at the back again Lovely. Lowe out chants quite a bit in the first half and for one period in the 2nd. Got a view of the aggro between Northam and Wolves fans, some even tried to jump segregation :lol
  16. You're obviously a hooligan Lordswood seen as your display picture is the logo of Fjall Raven
  17. How do you edit posts if you're just a registered user? And thinking about it, there was a few youth there, and another group of lads near the back aren't anything to do with that type of thing.
  18. They aren't youth by the way... ...And they were being escorted because some were told that Preston pikeys were bricking cars further up the road.
  19. Pfft. We make a bloody good atmosphere at St Mary's. Easily in the top 3 in the league and one of the best in England, same with our away support, singing wise that is. Itchen North was quality, and when attendances come back Itchen will be opened, and we will have an even better atmosphere back. I love the away days to places like Cardiff etc, But you can still make a lot of noise at places like Bristol City, Charlton, Palace.
  20. Go. Have a good sing song, good atmosphere (hopefully) if we get a decent amount up there..and if we get trounced it's not far home. Whereas we have a 5ish hour journey home that will be hell if we get trashed again. The point in following a team away from home is you can lose 3 weeks in a row miles and miles away from home, and then on a cold Tuesday night in Yorkshire with 200 others of you, you could scrape a last minute winner, mental celebrations and singing, and makes the drive home completely bearable and enjoyable
  21. But if we go into administration we wouldn't be assured we would get bought? I'm a bit unclear on it all.. ..But say no-one bought us, St Mary's got sold.. Then Southampton Football Club is no more We would have to form some ****ty spin off team in Southern Counties Premier or something, ground share with Eastleigh. I doubt even some would be arsed to make another spin off team and then that would truly be the end?
  22. Mate, please **** off and die. I couldn't give a **** who was in charge of the club in all honesty. I go for atmosphere, not so much at home, but all away days are quality.. And we are in the minority? Well attendances last season or season before were normally between 20-26k.. Now there's about 15k. Now is that less than half? I will be there no matter what league, no matter who's playing. It's our club. When these people **** off it will still be our club. Even if we go into administration and end up in league two, I will still be doing every home and away.. Or if the club goes out of existence I will support a team week in week out **** knows how many leagues below the Premiership.
  23. Yeah, completely numb with it all. The only difference is I still love atmosphere, the pubs, the away days, the banter. The actual football seems to get less and less important, even though still very important. But some of the fanbase are very apathetic. They are willing to not turn up and watch the club get ****ed over. Something needs to be done..We need to rally together, get something done. Or just give the team 100% of our backing and singing. It's not their fault they have to get picked because our best players are sold and getting loaned out.
  24. Good idea. I Wasn't around in those times but have heard a few stories from my father a good few years ago about different stories from the day, night and game. Can't start a thread because I'm not a member.
