Not using it as an excuse but it certainly didn't help. You can make much more noise standing up than sitting down. I was luckily a row high enough and I managed to stand for 90% of the game on the aisle seat of 2 next to 3. Looked like there was a few sat down higher up in block 2 and further over towards 1 though. Why would anyone go in that part of the ground if they want to sit down?

Very disappointed by it today. Having a ST in there I hope I'm not stuck with it like that for 18 more games. Loads of empty seats at the back of block 3. Ridiculous seeing as block 3 wasn't available to buy and the online ticketing showed it as completely sold out. I hope people in there today were there just because it was the first game back and that it'll be decent for United.

Sh*t. Not helped by awful stewards in the Itchen North making the majority sit. Could barely hear the Northam from Itchen either. Wigan made a fair bit of noise to be fair.

That was the most bored I've been at a football game in a while now. No real opportunities apart from long range efforts. The game had no real tempo to it either. Itchen North was sh*t. Moved there because I thought we'd stand and sing but it was all sat up to about EE/FF in block 2and the stewards were little Nazis. Never had that much grief to sit down ever in the Itchen North before.

No. I'm talking about a good 100 seats, not a few here and there. The back few rows were virtually empty yet the online ticketing website showed the block unavailable for season ticket purchases and matchday purchases.

It's not like people won't turn up at all if they have to go in the Northam. Surely no one's that sad to completely miss a game of football because they don't like the stand they have to be in?

Nope, there's about 1,000 empties around there and 800 or so in Northam from memory.

It's the tickets sent back by Wigan/that Wigan didn't want. They were put on sale for us though.

1,857 tickets remaining. I can now enjoy my day. Although the Northam will look sh*t on highlights with swathes of empty seats.

I will be counting up how many tickets are left for the Wigan game just before I leave at 11am tomorrow. If there are still over 2,000 tickets left it is going to ruin my day.

I've just been a sad b*stard and counted up the available numbers of seats in each block. There are still 2,336 tickets available. 1,100 of these are in blocks 43 and 44 which are open to us now after Wigan sent back a chunk of their tickets.

No way in a million years was there only 400 empty seats at City.

Bought them Tuesday, still haven't arrived yet.

We have sold 13 in block E and 3 in block A. Looks like the middle will be quite packed then.
