Lets not forget that we can loan players out once the loan window has opened. Wouldn't be surprised to see De Ridder, Sharp, Hammond, Chaplow going out on loan.
Rhys Williams is a cracking player, better than our current CB's. Only thing with him is his injury record. Would compliment us very well as he's a passing CB who can also play in midfield. Think I'd rather him that Curtis Davies, (though I wouldnt say no to either!!)
I dont think you're able to play for 3 clubs in a season, but think you may be able to leave in the same transfer window you joined, though not sure....MLG ?
One of my best mates is a Boro fan and he rates him as one of the best players in the championship last season. From what i have seen, he'd fit in very well, likes the ball at his feet. Would love us to sign him, top player.
Bit easier when he's already playing in this league and in the same City. Also I'm sure there is a chance that talks were ongoing, just because public as of last night.
1. How do you know we weren't trying to sign him earlier on this summer...look how long J-Rod took to sign (we were after him for over a year)
2. I'm sure you'd rather we went down anyway.
Christ we have some proper miserable people on this forum. How can you not be excited about signing someone as good as Ramirez. Yes we're short at the back but it sounds like we'll have 2 defenders in by the window anyway. Stop moaning and embrace the fact that we're able to attract players of Ramirez's ability.
Although I agree and we have been dealt some tough fixtures, I personally (along with others im sure) was thinking that we could carry the momentum from the last few seasons into the start of the season this year. Just don't want us to be cut away by October.
Or you're just not wanting to believe him.
He's been right with Sharp, J-Rod, Clyne, Ramirez, Gazza, and Mayuka. No reason for him to lie, just loses him credability.
