I absolutely don't disagree with you. But this model basically we had to spend £50m odd just to keep our squad together from promotion (plus we lost 2 key players in Stu Armstrong & Che Adams. But yeah, I much prefer what we did last season, by investing in Jander, Scienza, Azaz and then we can pull in likes of Larin & Peretz to improve the squad when needed. (though these postiions should have been dealt with last summer). There is no 1 perfect way, but from a business sense, the likes of Scienza/Jander we can flip and make good money on them within 1 season which will enable us to reinvest.

It's a tough one, as it was also the reason we were completely hamstrung when we got up...

I know most fans think they're hard done by, but we must be one of the worst teams to support. Continued barrage of shit thrown at us, as soon as anything starts going well we get fucked over. Whether thats our players being sold, managers being taken, owners going / dying, losing every week, and now cheating. It's so fucking depressing, why do we bother.

Simply cannot see us getting a points deduction in the prem next season. It's already hard enough to stay up, why would the PL want to make it even less competitive ? No players would come to us, and it would just be a depressing season of losing every week, much like last season...

This was when he was playing for us. Basically said losing all the time made him miserable. Whilst he wouldnt walk into a Man Utd/PSG/Arsenal level side, I'm sure he'd be a very decent squad player in first season or two, and then be a starter. He is class and he's still so so young. Of course, his career could also go the other way like all young footballers.
