No complacency, but go and get the job done early on, and we can take a few players off second half. Either they've got nothing to play for so they're not on it. or they relax and just play with nothing to lose. We owe them for ruining our run a few seasons ago, don't let it happen again. For me Bree is starting to look quite tired, but simply don't have an alternative atm by the looks of it. Would also be good to get Welington on the pitch before the weekend. Wouldn't surprise me if we start with Archer again ahead of Saturday to give Scienza the rest. Peretz; Bree THB Stephens Manning; Charles Bragg; Fellows Azaz Archer; Larin Welington, Wood, Jander, Matsuki, Scienza, Robinson, all likely to come on off the bench... Expecting to see the following for Saturday: Peretz; Bree THB Stephens Welington; Downes Jander Charles; Azaz Scienza Stewart

Bit concerned about this one...a really tough game, up against a striker in top form. We need to keep him quiet. Bristol City is also a very tough game. Would expect to see this one prioritised though, as think it's the tougher game and because of the changes vs Blackburn. Do need Welington to have some game time ahead of next Saturday though, as Manning can't play at Wembley. Peretz; Bree THB Stephens Welington; Downes Jander; Matsuki Azaz Scienza; Stewart Probably see Wood, Manning, Charles, Bragg, Fellows, Robinson, Archer, Larin all rotated either off the bench on Sat and probably a fair few will start Tuesday night.

Agreed. Stay down and he'll be a real asset next season. Go up and he's a great option to have. Only question is 1. his age (think he turned 31 today?) and 2. whether he has the same hunger after the WC.
-
Why wouldn't they? I can't remember the last time I went to an away game and sat down...? Most of our lot at Wembley for playoffs and league cup final / FA Cup semis were stood from memory as they should be if they can...creates a much better atmosphere.

Think probably 90% of the 33k will stand tbh...
-
I read somewhere the other day it's their 32nd visit to the "new" Wembley. The last season that they didnt get to Wembley I think was 2010... Whilst I completely agree it is special, it's also far less special when you go there every year and it is expensive to come from Manchester. But they also never sell out at home either so...

Was pretty easy this morning, I got in at 9:30 and seemed to have half the stadium to pick from. I did however panic, and ended up buying tickets considerably lower down than I had originally planned. Still scarred from Oasis ticket farce a few yeas ago.

Yes - you pick the amount of seats you want to buy, then allocate them at checkout to a customer number. Pretty simple, but likely to be 25,000 people logging on at the same time so site is bound to crash.

Wonder if he talks about all the shit signings he made or just the good times?! Not sure i can face watching it tbh

Contactless bank/credit card is exactly the same as oyster card I think.

I think the job was too big for him (may well have been too big for Tonda too if he had come in the summer) Ultimately, I think he got stuck between trying to rebuild the team, stuck between ideas/systems, and also having a bunch of new players and also no goals in the team. I do feel a bit sorry for him, but was the wrong job for him.
-
Only reason to sell in stages is to give the "more loyal" (sorry shitty term) fans better opportunity for the "better" tickets. i.e. safe standing and behidn the goal bottom tier. Personally I hope it's pretty relaxed as 6 of us often go together but my dad doesnt have half the aways that others have due to living in Devon. I would prefer him to be sat/stood with us rather than on his own/not all together.

You'll be dancing on the streets after the game when we win...!
-
I think they'd probably sack off Preston... We took 55k to Wembley for the JPT...I can't imagine we'd struggle to sell 35,000 for this...
-
No idea why you didn't all trust me...!

If You had to Pick player of the year right now ?
Saint Garrett replied to Hawkswood's topic in The Saints
THB or Scienza for me...so far. Scienza is the best player in the league, THB has been superb since Tonda came in, proper leader too. -
Got to be most likely. given we play Tuesday and Police will likely want Chelsea/Leeds on the sunday.
-
Should win, but we do need to be wary of them on the counter. Them not having Aygemang or Brereton-Diaz I would guess causes them issues. In Tonda we trust, can pretty much put out any players and you know they'll be the right choice. Scienza back in from the start for 60 mins, and then replace him when he's getting tired. Same with Stewart. Rotation is so important with all these games I'd probably go: Peretz; Bree THB Stephens Manning; Downes Jander; Fellows Azaz Scienza; Stewart
-
He's class, integral cog in this machine. Clearly he seemed to have issues at the start of the season whether that's fitness or Will Still, or a bit of both, but since Tonda has come in he's been pretty superb.

It was about 0.5% before last night...! Only downside is that Ipswich have a game in hand on us, and it's against the skates. Norwich (A) - D Pompey (A) - W Boro (H) - W Charlton (A) - D WBA (A) - D Saints (A) - L QPR (H) - W Gives them 12 points = 84 points We win all 6 - 18 points - 84 points - we go up 2nd on goal difference...#ITSHAPPENING
-
We were however pretty awful in that game, and Claus should have been sent off early on...what a day though...!
-
Massive news if Scienza is back in training already. Wouldn't expect him to start tomorrow, and maybe not in the squad, but should be back in for the weekend on the bench as a minimum.
-
Agreed, top bloke. And still wish him all the best. His next job is huge for his career,
