  1. Yeah like all clubs we've all got our tossers sadly. But that just a reflection of society. All I saw was both sets of fans being pretty respectful, with some good banter between them. I was shocked how bad they were though, I always had good respect for their fans as they've always been pretty humble and respectful, whilst also being pretty loud "proper" fans. But it was strange fromthem Saturday, generally heard them once or twice. Not sure if thats because we were so loud for most of the game, or whther they just didn't sing. I know it's a second home for them, and we're "small fry" but I would still expect the ones that turned up to be pretty loud.
  2. Seems a far better player off the bench than starting games. I really like him as a player, but I find him too casual and not "on it" at times. The game passed him by on Tuesday, you can see why he's not forced a first XI spot this season ahead of Downes, Jander and even Bragg...
  3. Yeah but Wood is nowhere near as good as Stephens. Only thing is his physicality benefit against Haaland.
  4. Team picks itself for me... Peretz; Bree THB Stephens Welington; Downes Jander; Fellows Azaz Scienza; Stewart... Only question is whether we go to a CM 3 and include Bragg and lose one of Azaz or Fellows.
  5. They're shit, 3-1 Saints.
  6. You could always just message them on instagram / twitter - can't imagine they get huge amounts of messages a day...?
  7. Wonder if they'll be any freebies inside the ground like the league cup final with those scarfs. Will look amazing with yellow & blue scarfs flying...
  8. I think people just also have in mind.. It's a good game to go to - with the bonus of potentially something riding on it New ground probably for plenty (2 years go it was midweek) Last game of the season Players deserve a big following after the 2nd half the season.
  9. Well Ipswich have done worse so far than I predicted so far...couple of draws in teh next two would be good... Think Millwall are a big problem now though as I believe they'll win their remaining games,
  10. Interestingly they seem to have put a load of what I thought were "club wembley" seats now on sale. middle tier.
  11. Sounds good, sure we can help you fill it up with football fans if you give us the name...
  12. No complacency, but go and get the job done early on, and we can take a few players off second half. Either they've got nothing to play for so they're not on it. or they relax and just play with nothing to lose. We owe them for ruining our run a few seasons ago, don't let it happen again. For me Bree is starting to look quite tired, but simply don't have an alternative atm by the looks of it. Would also be good to get Welington on the pitch before the weekend. Wouldn't surprise me if we start with Archer again ahead of Saturday to give Scienza the rest. Peretz; Bree THB Stephens Manning; Charles Bragg; Fellows Azaz Archer; Larin Welington, Wood, Jander, Matsuki, Scienza, Robinson, all likely to come on off the bench... Expecting to see the following for Saturday: Peretz; Bree THB Stephens Welington; Downes Jander Charles; Azaz Scienza Stewart
  13. Bit concerned about this one...a really tough game, up against a striker in top form. We need to keep him quiet. Bristol City is also a very tough game. Would expect to see this one prioritised though, as think it's the tougher game and because of the changes vs Blackburn. Do need Welington to have some game time ahead of next Saturday though, as Manning can't play at Wembley. Peretz; Bree THB Stephens Welington; Downes Jander; Matsuki Azaz Scienza; Stewart Probably see Wood, Manning, Charles, Bragg, Fellows, Robinson, Archer, Larin all rotated either off the bench on Sat and probably a fair few will start Tuesday night.
  14. Agreed. Stay down and he'll be a real asset next season. Go up and he's a great option to have. Only question is 1. his age (think he turned 31 today?) and 2. whether he has the same hunger after the WC.
  15. Why wouldn't they? I can't remember the last time I went to an away game and sat down...? Most of our lot at Wembley for playoffs and league cup final / FA Cup semis were stood from memory as they should be if they can...creates a much better atmosphere.
  16. Think probably 90% of the 33k will stand tbh...
  17. I read somewhere the other day it's their 32nd visit to the "new" Wembley. The last season that they didnt get to Wembley I think was 2010... Whilst I completely agree it is special, it's also far less special when you go there every year and it is expensive to come from Manchester. But they also never sell out at home either so...
  18. Was pretty easy this morning, I got in at 9:30 and seemed to have half the stadium to pick from. I did however panic, and ended up buying tickets considerably lower down than I had originally planned. Still scarred from Oasis ticket farce a few yeas ago.
  19. Yes - you pick the amount of seats you want to buy, then allocate them at checkout to a customer number. Pretty simple, but likely to be 25,000 people logging on at the same time so site is bound to crash.
  20. Wonder if he talks about all the shit signings he made or just the good times?! Not sure i can face watching it tbh
  21. Contactless bank/credit card is exactly the same as oyster card I think.
  22. I think the job was too big for him (may well have been too big for Tonda too if he had come in the summer) Ultimately, I think he got stuck between trying to rebuild the team, stuck between ideas/systems, and also having a bunch of new players and also no goals in the team. I do feel a bit sorry for him, but was the wrong job for him.
  23. Only reason to sell in stages is to give the "more loyal" (sorry shitty term) fans better opportunity for the "better" tickets. i.e. safe standing and behidn the goal bottom tier. Personally I hope it's pretty relaxed as 6 of us often go together but my dad doesnt have half the aways that others have due to living in Devon. I would prefer him to be sat/stood with us rather than on his own/not all together.
  24. You'll be dancing on the streets after the game when we win...!
