  1. Have you looked behind the sofa?
  2. No offence but I want to check this out before commenting. When's it next on and what channel please?
  3. Though it pains me to admitting that I ventured behind enemy lines, this place was the absolute best ever I have had: http://www.bombaybay.co.uk/ The set menu is a bargain too and a lovely view only spoiled by those godawfulmfloodlight pulls in the too near distance. Brick Lane flatters to disappoint btw.
  4. Alsomwhy is it that when returning from London you don't see a Southampton sign until you're almost at the M25 but you see Pompey all over the place?
  5. 100% agree, it would bring a tear to many eyes I reckon.
  6. More likely to have been conceived in them I'd say. Also, my skate brother is always reminding me that Pompey are more local to where I was born that Southampton. I remind him that Calais Park Rangers would be more likely to get my support than that horrible bunch. Winchester City are crap btw.
  7. In years gone by I have spent more on a single away game than people spend on a whole season ticket nowadays. Not sure what my point is but I'm sure it's a good one.
  8. Is it just me or has anyone else noticed that since Saturday 'Southampton' has replaced that other south coast city on the weather map? We are back where we belong and the weathermen should offer an apology for their two years of ignoring us.
  9. Who's more bothered by these reported [sic] rifts I wonder? A minority of the fans I'd suggest.
  10. /\ some salient points Phil. One thing that none of the clubs associate egos can't do though is rewrite history. In the past 24 months we nearly went kaboom, we won a trophy and we have gained a promotion. The record books will record our most successful mamnager's name and our most gifted player and hopefully (more success pending) the name of the chairman who steers the bus back to the higher echelons. Noone will know or care for what is currently going on behind scenes, it will all be over in a blink of the historical eye. If I was giving the parties involved advice it would be to stop being bitter and/or resentful of each other.
  11. Good luck BT. I'd suggest selling items individually as I found the sought after ones I sold a while back went for more than bundles. If you have anything that's sought after it makes it easier for the serious collector to fond it. Don't short change yourself on postage either, every penny counts when things sell cormthe start price. If you have a particular programme, rare photo, shirt, badge etc I'd recomend mentioning it specifically on the forum too. I had some good additional info from posters and sold quite a few bits to people on here too. I must admit though that I got a bit fed up listing rentlesy and after a few years of successfully being an eBay trader of other items (making upwards of £60 per unit) I gave up on my programmes fairly quickly and still have a vast majority in boxes around the house. What I will sY though is that I really would like to see the club open a museum at some time in the near future. Fans like us cod donate our collections and any surplustonrequirement items cod be sold on by the (or the foundation perhaps) towards good causes. Immense they woe have many offers from volunteers willing to undertake the majority of the work. Hernia cod be curator perhaps?
  12. Well,'inning reading too much into this story but as it's on the OS I would assume they are doing their bit to repair the bridges: http://www.saintsfc.co.uk/page/NewsDetail/0,,10280~2352712,00.html
  13. The very least that Nicola deserves for another succesful season. Maybe Wili was over to deliver it personally?
  14. Blow me, that's a big watch! Is that the one Markus carried across town for Nicola? Big respect if it is.
  15. I met your mate on the pitch Saturday, was telling me about you having to work. How was it?
  16. /\ I meant G Balls, no offence, sorry.
  17. Thanks again Neil. Managed to squeeze him in with me in the front row too which was a bonus, if ever I can repay the favour please ask.
  18. Whatever you do 1976, avoid googling any of the conditions *suggested but by all means get it checked as a priority. * note that nearly all Internet discussions are posted by peoemwho have discovered symptoms that have turned out to be bad news. Not many people go to the trouble of subscribing to forums if they get the all clear. And the pictures and vids will make you feel most unwell, try youtubing TURBT for an example of what went through MY mind the other week, I was waking up sweating like a pig through watching too many of them. Keepmeverything crossed, if that's not too uncomfortable for you ;-)
  19. I went into the Hogs Head this afternoon as I was desperate for a pee and fancied a quiet coffee sat by the canal. I thought that the football season had ended yesterday. It was heaving with man u supporters going mental and blocking my way to the toilet so I went next door but was again confronted by even more nutters. Mrs h was very annoyed and said that she hated man u even more because it meant us having to walk all the way to the lock, stock. I needed a number two by the time we got there but was rewarded by a great blues solo chap and most important NO BLOODY man u fans. £9 for two drinks was a bit hard to stomach though having celebrated promotion at nurseling club last night at a tenner a round!
  20. I prefer mine to rhyme, never quite got the ones that don't tbh.
  21. Enjoyed the banter especially as we (We're The Chapel) outsung them. Daren, I was at the front leading my posse, next to the bloke on the mobility scooter. Thanks for adding to the day for us, great banter mate.
  22. /\ Yup. Where Matty got whacked, he's one of my heroes ergo it was not his fault. I also once saw Matty in Debenhams but I had go in there to shop so continued shopping. Outside the Silhouette Club once Mark Wright's friend called me a bad name, making Mark Wright a right knob. I saw one of the Bros brothers in Harrods once too, he looked famous and behaved like a famous person and I have never liked the bloke since. He was wearing flash clothes and expensive sunglasses, and lived a celebrity lifestyle that i am very jealous of Don't know whether it was Luke or Matt (Goss) but I'm taking no chances so I don't like either of them.
  23. Not disputing your eye-witness accounts but I can't help wondering why some people on here are openly admitting to stalking him if, as seems the general consensus, he's a nobody [sic]? Crabs, no offence my friend but it does sound like you followed his every move from the moment he entered the club until the moment he got sent on his way by the police! You even seem to have been close enough to have heard his conversations! I confess that as a youngster I did have occasion to stalk the odd player in Boogies but not to the extent you seem to have. Not judging, just seems a strange pre-occupation on a night out.
  24. Good on yer Mao. I hated night shifts, nights are for burglars and prostitutes. Make yourself a promise never to do nights again mate.
