  2. Downing was unbelievable, as was Carrick and Upson. Am I the only one who thinks that, apart from hitting the post, SWP only ever seemed to run into a defender?
  3. So, so true. I'm not sure whether i'm disappointed or glad I can't get my hands on these f*cking people.
  4. Bent and Richards could play up front and at RB respectively.
  5. I don't really understand how this is Saints related, other than "he played against us".
  6. Terrible decision by the ref.
  7. Harsh on Carrick IMO. I think he's a fantastic passer of the ball. Defoe is, sadly, scoring as well.
  8. If we don't appeal we are stupid. That is a decision that will easily get reversed.
  9. Would prefer BWP on left wing at the moment.
  10. I don't like her that much to be honest. Agree with Arizona, Holly Willoughby is awesome.
  11. Doesn't sound good to me unless we will be getting around 5 years service minimum from Pearce. If he f*cks off after a year then we'll have got a terrible deal.
  12. http://news.bbc.co.uk/sport1/hi/football/internationals/7729516.stm Completely agree with it to be honest, with the exception of Upson whom I would have dropped for Michael Dawson. Glad Micah Richards, Gabby Agbonlahor and Ashley Young have been picked. Also glad Bentley has been dropped as he has done f*ck all to deserve a place.
  13. Also seems very solid in his tackling. Could be an important player for us this season - i'd like to see Perry playing with him. EDIT: Yes, I do realise how dodgy that last sentence sounded. :smt069
  14. Instead of saying that, you should have politely enquired as to whether he regretted any of his decisions in hindsight. That way he would have no reason not to answer you.
  15. The team does get our full support. But when it looks like a lost cause, we might as well protest against Lowe. To be honest when that second goal went in Wolves looked like they could thrash us 8-0, so I was happy to join in with the Lowe Out chants - just as I was away to QPR. For what it's worth, I thought todays atmosphere was the best since Sheffield United last season.
  16. Nigel Pearson, no doubt. And rightly so.
  17. Thank f*ck I didn't buy it then.
  18. Most managers could keep Spurs up, they have a very good side. For some reason (we obviously don't have all the info) they didn't want to play for Ramos.
  19. I can't see what it is he is doing for us right now that benefits us - i'd be a lot happier with him gone and Wilde as chairman. Remember the atmosphere of the first home game after he left? We need that now, more than ever.
  20. I think we will beat Wolves to be honest, but can't see us getting anything at Reading.
  21. Sorry Mike, but if this is correct then it's still odd. An 18 year old is not yet considered good enough for a team comprised mainly of 18-19 year olds, with even a couple of 17 year olds thrown in? Surely this indicates that the players in the team - or on the fringes (i.e Gobern) - right now have better potential than Jack Doyle, meaning this is still a weird signing.
  22. Nevermind.
  23. Completely agree.
  24. Finally, the pieces are falling together. With this signing we have everything we need IMO, and we can finally push on to win the league, and the Premiership, FA Cup and Champions League in the following two years. W00T for the muffin heads that run this club.
  25. Well done to Lee Holmes. Of course we are entitled to boo. Can't say I believe the Blackstock bit to be honest. It wasn't like he hid his delight when he scored against us.
