Villa have twice now deliberately t used to injured players, they succeeded with Perraud and have moved onto Djenepo and so far have only one yellow card to show for the attempts.

Playing a very dangerous game. If villa were smart at all and realised JWP is now by himself in midfield they'd just flood it and run through the centre.

Because some of us like our goalkeepers to be good at goalkeeping BEFORE we worry about them being an attacking threat.

This is exactly why I wanted us to sign an experienced keeper. Instead we're going to put up with his mistakes, develop him and then sell him on when he's actually winning us points rather than costing us.

The unfortunate thing about the Djenepo situation is he was played at left back out of necessity meaning he got a run of games because there was no other option. Now he's freed up to play further forward there are plenty of other options so he won't get a run of games, which will probably work against him. He's still young though.
