Mention of the 9-0 there from the commentators, 17 minutes in.
-
Stuart Armstrong looking very rusty. On the whole we look very good.
-
Brilliant forward play from Long there to chest down that long ball. Wasted by Stuart Armstrong though.
-
Playing with fire with these high lines from freekicks with VAR in place nowadays.
-
Fucking hell Reguilon went down so easily there 😂
-
Really enjoying this new aggressive style we have.
-
Forster pass counter Short pass - 2 "Random hoof" - 2
-
Yep, so much more of a threat.
-
Really poor from KWP, JWP was in acres of space on the edge of the box.
-
Definitely 3 at the back, with KWP getting massively high up when we have the ball.

Forster short pass counter - 1 "Random hoof" counter - 1

Good first touch for Valery there 🤦🏼♂️

Haven't been to a game in quite a while, whats with the new announcer style at the stadium? He's calling out the players names like a fucking bingo caller.
-
13 players plus a keeper? Find it very hard to believe they can't fulfill that. Quick look on Wikipedia and they have a 27 man first team squad and then 12 players in the reserves over 20 years old.
-
Decent idea but Spurs have rotated just as much, with better quality as back up.
-
Yep, he always causes problems. He played earlier in the season - against Chelsea maybe? - and immediately was winning the ball in the air, winning us freekicks and throw ins to move us up the pitch. Shane Long has a use in the squad, i just don't know if today is right. He should be the person you bring on when defending a lead.
-
Fuck em, why should the game be postponed when they can field a team? Really annoying me that so many teams are getting special treatment, we had to play on when we had 6 first teamers injured ffs.
-
Valery did indeed look very assured at centreback, so it'll be interesting to see how he does here. The issue isn't changes, it's the sheer amount of them. It smacks of literally deciding this game is a throwaway.
-
I actually reckon Long will put in a good performance today, he always causes problems even if he rarely gets a goal, but where the hell is Adams?
-
Valery will be right midfield. Either that or he's playing centreback and we've gone three at the back.
-
What the fuck is that team. Why the fuck take Broja off early V West Ham if you're not saving him for tonight.
-
From what I've seen I think we look better with Perraud at left back, yes. He has a cracking cross on him with his left foot which would make us more of a threat as well.
-
He is absolutely not better on the left. Had a good game but we are forever limited in our attacking threat down the side because of how one footed he is.
-
Amazed to read in people's analysis of Forster's performance that his kicking amount to "big hoofs" and "randomly launching it forward". He played it short just as often as he played it long and one of those randomly launched hoofs started the move that got us the first goal.
