  1. Insurrection or paedo grooming?
  2. Anyone got any streams for mobile?
  3. Livramento must have really impressed Ralph so far. Chelsea striker on loan not even on the bench? Walcott and Djenepo, glad Redmond is dropped but that's a big challenge thrown down for those two.
  4. Providing we stay up we should be looking to make some really good signings next summer. Lots of room in the wage budget for Ralph to play with.
  5. Surely the obvious answer is for the club to have an option to extend the contract by 12 months which can only be exercised at the midway point.
  6. Not really, Romeu had only made 34 does team appearances aged 23 when we signed him and Bertrand only 43 appearances aged 24 when we signed him.
  7. Jesus, the lads made 39 career appearances, kudos to those of you who have seen enough of them to make an informed decision. I know almost nothing about the guy but I'll be prepared to give him a go, certainly over Bednarek. The only player from the back line last season I wanted us to keep was KWP.
  8. Whoscored suggest he is very good at aerial duels and also good at passing and keeping concentration. Would hopefully mean similar to Vestergaard without committing too many mistakes.
  9. I'm really not, it was posted on here in a summary that they said no bid had been received yet. I haven't listened myself so only going by that.
  10. Forster, he is actually capable of pulling of saves you wouldn't expect him to whereas McCarthy is just weak all round.
  11. Less than 24 hours after the fans forum when the management said no bid had been received for Vestergaard, these reports that it's close seem to have come around very quickly. Someone's not being entirely honest.
  12. Sorry yeah, misremembering things. I thought it was Long X 3 and Martina with 1.
  13. That £12million has got us more goals and assists than Nathan Redmond in much less game time. It's got us a hat trick against arsenal, a worldy against Villa and an epic last minute cup semi final goal away to anfield. It's got us a player who has done a decent to good job for 7 years. With the attributes he has, if he was able to finish to the level of Ings there would be very little between them in terms of ability.
  14. I feel like Stu Armstrong is our midfield creative force now, just with a different style of play. A quick look at Transfermarkt shows there are a few potentially good options out of contract, including a 29 year old centreback I'd never heard of but who has played for Napoli for the last 5 years, Jetro Willems who whilst unspectacular at Newcastle would provide decent backup at left back and is only 27, and other decent possibilities like Mustafi, Mangala, Ntcham. Did chuckle to see that Gaston Ramirez is without a club still.
  15. Really feel we should be looking for some sort of cover at left back, whether it's a loan or someone on the cheap - any free transfers about? The squad as a whole is looking stronger but we're only one bad injury to Perraud away from having Djenepo at left back for half the season. I really like him, but he is nowhere near adequate cover there.
  16. Yep, always liked Shlong. People still romanticise players like Ormerod but for some reason Long gets a lot of hate, he's been a great signing for us all things considered. Well worth the money.
  17. An insult based on the colour of ones skin. Thank god white people can't be the victims of racism, eh?
  18. Indeed they are, but for the Saints Foundation, not for any organisation that will help with the issue of inclusivity and discrimination. Compared to the poppy shirts which, as I said, the proceeds from the auction go directly to a charity with specific goals and methods on how it wants to achieve them which are related to the image of the poppy.
  19. Any reason why it won't be the skates? Edit; oh wait, I'm assuming they were knocked out. That's a shame, seeing our reserves beat them would be great.
  20. The Royal British Legion, which those shirts raise money for, are an active charity that have specific aims and methods to reach those aims. The reasoning behind this is a very vague "to increase inclusivity and fight discrimination", with no actual method except just wearing the shirt. I.E, Saints/Hummel's take all the plaudits for signalling their virtue without actually going to any effort at all to do something about what they're campaigning for.
  21. Yeah I skim read it in between redecorating.
  22. Screw it, they're desperate with their injuries. Even if we sell him for that amount we should try and get Kabak ourselves.
  23. A £25million fee would be incredible!
  24. He's 24 to be fair, I don't expect him to start scoring immediately but it's not like he's a youngster who we need to wait years to see the best of.
  25. That would be 10% so exactly the same statistical significance.
