Bizarrely seems to play better when he's brought into the side every now and then rather than given a run of games. Magnificent last night.

Ridiculous. Holding was a first choice CB in a side that conceded 39 goals in 38 games, with only Chelsea and City conceding less, and he was fantastic that season too.

Totally agree, he is definitely a CB now and turning into a very good one. He's essentially 5th choice and you can't ask for much better that far down the pecking order.

They both played last Saturday and play again this friday, nowhere to fit it in this week.

Curve ball shout, as an upgrade on Bednarek I'd go for Holding from Arsenal. Saliba is back in the summer so they are overloaded in that position, Holding is 26 so needs to be starting games and is a good age to get a good 6-7 years out of him and he was a fixture in the Arsenal team last season that had the third best defense in the league. 2 years left on his contract so transfer fee might be an issue, but a loan to buy deal might work well.

His crossing doesnt require him to beat the man. I don't think he has dribbling ability in his locker but he doesn't really need it.

It is something to worry about slightly. Would we rotate that heavily if we were playing City, Liverpool, Chelsea? What level of opposition does Ralph think justifies full strength?

I'd take Huddersfield or Notts Forest as well.

Not forgetting the players that got us here is one thing, but I hope to god that doesn't mean he'd start with a similar line up in the final.
