With all the talk of him being sacked I did think that we only recently completely revamped the entire academy, reserve and first team coaching set up to have all coaches and players working towards the same style of play which would need throwing out if someone else came in.

Actually kind of agree with Ings being dropped. Minamino being dropped however is an odd one, shouldn't need a rest as he got one for the cup game.

I think you're underestimating how much studs up challenges at full speed would hurt, especially given players wear those pathetic little inserts now instead of shin pads.

The biggest mistake they've made is having current refs man the VAR, and having them in the same pairs always (mates working together). They should be training brand new VAR officials who don't interact with the referees outside of match day so they have no biases.

With that Kante one if our players all screamed and ran to surround the ref something is probably given there.
