  1. Ed Woodward resigned.
  2. Flick at 25/1 and Bielsa at 33/1 are good shouts there.
  3. Don't know about any other bodies but the Prems rules are clear about what competitions a club is allowed to compete in.
  4. Indeed, people forget this. If you earn just £10,000 a week after tax over a 15 year career, you've earnt £7.8million. Can anyone honestly say they'd need more than that to be able to live out their days comfortably from 35 onwards?
  5. I'll only carry on paying and watching if they're kicked out the league, if this franchise league goes ahead and they stay in the Prem I'll be cancelling both and never watching another Prem, FA cup or league cup game.
  6. They're now saying he's been sacked. Don't believe that with a cup final right round the corner.
  7. Mourinho has just quit his Spurs job, if it's related to this then massive respect to him.
  8. They have to stick to their guns. This will be a rot that slowly eats away at the premier league.
  9. I don't think they realise that eventually even plastics would stop watching if there is absolutely nothing on the line for the majority of the season with players putting in minimal effort because of it.
  10. Another reason they've timed it like they have. We won't have fans in the grounds before the end of this season.
  11. The way the money is worked out, if say Leicester qualified and somehow managed to win the Franchise League competition, they would still receive less money than most of the founding clubs would get just for participating.
  12. True, but for those players under contract at the club's leaving they won't need to worry, they'll just carry on playing. The club's will just tear up their current contracts and immediately re-sign them on new ones. End result is the same sure, but if this new league is outside of FIFAs jurisdiction then the club's don't need to worry about registration at all. Fair point, any contract talking about a players FIFA registration would be null and void if they were banned whilst playing in the super League, meaning those players could immediately sign for another club.
  13. They couldn't stop a player from playing in a brand new organised competition anymore than they could stop them playing down the park.
  14. The club's still have them under contract.
  15. A transfer right now is a transfer of their legal registration between two FIFA recognised clubs I believe, FIFA registrations won't be required for playing in this super League I'm guessing.
  16. If they run their contract down then nothing can be done, but you can ban actual transfers. Although I guess a super League team could pay saints to cancel Danny Ings contract...
  17. It seems as if this league is a done deal, they're not talking about a proposal they're saying this is happening.
  18. Let's hope they stick to their guns. This bullshit about wanting to secure financial security for all levels of the game...how does that £3billion they each receive help clubs in league two? If they really cared that much, that £45billion (Jesus) would just be split amongst all clubs.
  19. I've supported him all the way but I can't anymore.
  20. Ward Prowse you utter twat.
  21. This is it now. Have to create something. Get Forster in there.
  22. Only 4 minutes added time and most of it will be wasted from this freekick.
