Wanyama and Romeu played today and struggled. Clasie should always start. Cedric struggled at right back - much prefer Martina there right now - and Fontes form took another dip. Forster clearly lost concentration a few times as well due to inactivity.

Passes under 10 yards, or under no pressure, or playing backwards, yes he's fantastic. But when he gets over the half way line and is trying to accurately pick someone out he struggles.

It's improving, but the club are aiming for even better. Nothing to be unhappy about there really.

Only times i couldn't go the games weren't bloody sold out.

I'm definitely voting a little more with heart than head, but I honestly think he fully deserves it.

In a side that didn't really do much, this will mean much more. And it's only patronising if you view it that way, get over it. Van dijk will perform better through his career than Shane Long has/will do, i don't believe for a second you disagree.

All season i've thought it was VVD, but i've voted for Shane Long just because the guy has been hugely important to us and has given it everything, plus he probably never gets the chance to win an award like this whereas Van Dijk will have a career full of seasons like this one.

Yep, SO frustrating. He looks fantastic for us when running through the middle, I really don't understand what Koeman thinks he does out on the left that is worth losing that threat.

Really not sure why the co commentator is slating the short corners, sure there was one we f*cked up but we change the routine to keep the opposition guessing - and we scored from a short corner last week.
