  1. Great game so far, some fantastic attacking play. Huge fan of Josh Sims. Not sure why these lads aren't given more of a chance if these are the sorts of performances they're putting in.
  2. I think the reason for Soares being dropped a while back was because he wasn't strong enough physically to play against the opponents we were facing. Fair enough...but which teams will we be playing who he IS strong enough to face then? And why did we sign someone who we werent going to use 80% of the time?
  3. Look at the NFL, coaches are there for decades evolving their own sides and there's huge money involved in that.
  4. So basically, smaller clubs lose transfer revenue and players wages go up? How is that viable?
  5. Glynn snodin?
  6. Fourth choice so really can't complain. Been playing with sh*t for a few years now, he will improve immensely under Koeman and playing/training alongside the defenders at Saints and will probably go on to do well providing he signs for another team with a decent set up - Palace, Stoke, someone like that. If he goes to another relegation threatened team he'll just get sucked back into the cycle again.
  7. I don't think anyones saying that. It's a shame and a horrible injury for anyone to suffer, but in all honesty if i could swap places with him right now i absolutely would. I'd suffer much worse injuries for that amount of money.
  8. The one we sign for Shane Long now...? I think it's safe to say that if we'd kept him he wouldn't have broken his leg V PSV tonight. It's not like it was an underlying injury just waiting to happen.
  9. Midgetland got Napoli, Club Brugge and Legia Warsaw. I know we would have been completely different if we'd gone through but it still hurt to see such a great group.
  10. The defectors really have been a bit cursed since they left, haven't they.
  11. A bit off topic but talking about the club changing/evolving, has anyone noticed how Jaidis role has changed from that of "ambassador to North Africa" to manager of the u21s without much noise? What happened to Martin Hunter?
  12. It's not as bizarre as your desperation to see him fail and f*ck off. Would you seriously not rather he came good?
  13. That is nowhere near happening.
  14. It was bizarre that after putting in a good performance V Norwich and Koeman talking up his potential in a CM role, he then pushed him back into AM and stuck Davis deeper (who had always struggled there).
  15. No different to playing Wanyama and Schneiderlin. In fact from what we've seen, Romeu actually gets forward more and has a go at goal every now and then.
  16. That penalty was a dive. Clean sheet, a point and another week closer to our strongest team...onwards and upwards.
  17. Commentator saying Mane should have been quicker there? Don't see how he could have been.
  18. We're still improving...hopefully we'll grab something in the last 10 minutes.
  19. How the f*ck is that a freekick to West Brom??? Evans kicked Ward-Prowse in the f*cking midriff!!!
  20. FFS that looked so good, just a sloppy pass from Wanyama there.
  21. Two great balls from Davis there Tadic is infinitely better on the left.
  22. I guess the idea is he'll be back to sharpness quicker if he plays in the Prem. We're not going to go down, there's relatively little risk in it.
  23. Van Dijk is f*cking awesome.
  24. What is it about Ward-Prowse in a Saints shirt that he loses all composure in front of goal?
