  1. As much as I didn't think we'd show any improvement under him and I don't like the bloke, I do feel sorry for him a bit. Must have been so happy and optimistic and now he'll probably not manage at the top level again.
  2. Fascinating insight into it here Monk, thanks. I'd be interested in a blog of some sort if you ever had the time or inclination for it.
  3. Same, if it hadn't been this month I could have gone.
  4. Guessing you went via Stratford, but from Pudding Mill Lane on the DLR the away end was a 10 minute walk if that.
  5. Stadium itself was lovely, just not right for football. Would've been a fantastic option for a potential London NFL team but hey ho, Hammers are stuck with it now.
  6. I'd put McCarthy in and leave Forster in England to be honest.
  7. How about Beer Sheva sales, heard someone say we've only just got over 100 but I was under the impression we had 3 or 4 hundred sold?
  8. Because earlier this season he didn't. He's improved under Puel, as we were told would happen by those who played under him.
  9. Yeah, that's what it seemed like. Very good to see.
  10. In the ground I noticed Puel having a word with Tadic after he came off and looking less than happy too, but i'm sure there's very little in it.
  11. Anyone got highlights to view on mobile?
  12. So, drinks tomorrow? Hole in the wall as per, where's good near the new ground? Or is it unexplored territory for us all this season?
  13. Yeah but could you not just divide by 5 instead of by 10 and then multiplying by 2?
  14. And they had the nerve to announce HD highlights as part of a new and improved service a few years back, when you could barely see what was going on.
  15. Shame really, I remember being really excited at having the two first choice England under 21 centrebacks as our future.
  16. Kompany made his comeback and got injured again. Oh dear.
  17. I'd drop it to a fiver tbh, get more in to try and build momentum and a feel good factor.
  18. Solid. System worked very well. Yoshida and Martina were superb, as were Reed, Targett, Hesketh, JWP and Long. No-one had a "bad" game although I must admit to being disappointed Clasie isn't getting more involved offensively. When's the draw?
  19. Ignoring the football, some places in the world do have areas that are best avoiding altogether if you don't want to get mugged by a group of thugs. I think it's fairly sensible to check. Watching that video above I'm gutted I can't afford to make this, just came too soon for me. If it were one of the last games I could have afforded the £800-odd plane fare through doing a f*ck ton of overtime.
  20. Oh wow that's actually confirmed now. Should be epic.
  21. Tbf if they turn up close to kick off time they might start rushing people through. But if you're going to risk it you have to be prepared to be turned away.
  22. Redmond is doing everything right and getting in some great positions, but just his finishing is letting him down (big time). However there's enough there to keep faith in the experiment. One thing I really, really didn't like today was our mentality for the last 20 minutes. We went so defensive and almost gave up on going for a second (which nearly cost us but for Forster). Hope it's just a case of wanting that first win on the board and not suggestive of how we'll play in future when we get a slim lead.
  23. That new lengthy contract we gave him when injured is looking like a bad bet so far.
  24. Bet on Chelsea to win over 2.5 goals, rollover bet so £50 on returns £150.
