  1. What was Ward-Prowse aiming for there? It would have been a good ball if there was actually someone running into that space, but there wasn't...so don't play the ball.
  2. That was so bad.
  3. First worrying sign from Maarten there...
  4. It's strange to me that Koeman talks up JWP in CM then next game puts Davis back there (who is awful there) and puts JWP further forward again (where he's struggled to make an impact).
  5. And yet was fine moments later. Didn't need to stay down and then hobble about all over the place - even Cedric and Ward-Prowse were trying to get him to stop.
  6. Tadic playacting again. Cut it out ffs.
  7. Rarely thinks about what he's doing in attack or defense, when he's attacking he always plays the ball far too early every single time.
  8. If he's not given a corner it has to be a penalty...having said that, commentators think he's thrown himself over.
  9. Fonte and Van Dijk looking composed.
  10. Can't seem to close the ads on that link?
  11. I'm finding it difficult to feel any sort of affinity to the guy right now. Won't be singing his name for a long time, if at all.
  12. Stunned by that in all honesty. Didn't wanyama only get back from international duty yesterday? And Romeu has been amazing for us.
  13. Davis should not be anywhere near DM ever again. He's a solid player further forward but is a liability there.
  14. If we're being honest we've ALL seen the potential there. He's just been very, very nervous.
  15. Rooney made his first tournament appearance in 2004, Walcott made his first tournament appearance in 2012. He was a token pick in 2006 when he went to the world cup, we didn't qualify for 2008 and he was left out the squad for 2010 - which Capello has since admitted was a mistake and even Messi said was a shock. Rooney was 18 when he went to the 2004 tournament, Walcott was 16 when he went to the world cup 2 years later. Walcott has had massive injury problems whereas Rooney has played probably well over 90% of the games for England in the last 10 years. And finally...Walcott has been wrongly shoved out onto the wing for his entire career since leaving Saints. On the odd occasion he has played up front in the last season or two for Arsenal, he has looked incredible and banged the goals in. Your comparison is ludicrous.
  16. Not all Prem players are pacey...
  17. Where are those from?
  18. If he realises Spurs were never serious enough to make a decent offer and we give him what he wants in wages I don't see why not.
  19. No.
  20. Depends, all very well saying "if he makes a mistake no point in getting on his back" (which is true) but it's the effort he puts in i'm more interested in. If we see anymore moments from him like for the Midgetland goal where he just ambles around well out of position while his opposite number belts the ball home with all the time in the world, then I'll consider giving him abuse.
  21. I'd definitely have Romeu in midfield instead of Wanyama, stick Victor on the bench until he sorts himself out.
  22. Watching his interview, he's incredibly honest and seems a sensible lad.
  23. Said last season that I thought JWP could fill Schneiderlins role. Hope Koeman sticks with him there for a run of games.
  24. Think we advanced too quickly for him. If played in his preferred position of striker instead of forced out to the wing, I reckon he'd be a decent striker for a lower half side.
