  1. Thank god we didn't sign Mark and Kevin as well like it was rumoured at the start of the summer.
  2. I am indeed, but I live and work in a Seaside tourist driven town and as such most of my time is taken up by work (especially with the Olympic sailing events going on down here).
  3. All fair points. I will try to be more active than I have been recently. It's up to Steve or Baj if anyone else is made Moderator.
  4. Only problem with that is we actually have our own lives, we don't have time to go through every single thread and check every individual post. Well that was what The Muppet Show was for, but we can't force people to use it.
  5. 20 years old I think.
  6. Unfortunately we lost a lot of posts from a few years back. Can't remember exactly why now, but it was something to do with a server update.
  7. That is by far the worst "news article" I've ever seen, and we've had some crackers this summer so far.
  8. Interesting birth place; Rinteln British Military Camp, Germany
  9. Wow. Don't think you've got the right Dan Harding.
  10. We quite often had a "transfer announced" thread as well as a "best wishes" thread when players left in the past, no reason to not bring it back.
  11. Oh goody, another thread where everyone moans about our lack of chants instead of actually coming up with anything themselves. Fwiw, the best option would be "Clyne, Clyne will tear you apart again". IMO of course.
  12. I think the answer is that Adkins rates him, and I think he's right to do so.
  13. Final result aside, by your logic there are plenty of countries who shouldn't bother entering any events as they never actually get anywhere? Personally I think the idea of representing your nation in the Olympics would be the absolute pinnacle of athletic sport (although obvious not the likes of football).
  14. They're showing every second of every event, if you don't want to watch the football press the red button, change the channel or turn the TV off and go play outside in the sunshine.
  15. No-ones forcing you to watch any of it. I live in Weymouth which has the sailing events, and apart from the town being busier (which it is every summer) it hasn't really impacted on my life at all.
  16. The first corner aside, it worked fairly well. Although I'm not sure we needed the change given how good we've been at set pieces the last few years.
  17. I'm not assuming anything, it's well documented that he's demanding £100k a week. I doubt he's weighing up his options and thinking "I either want £100k at a top club, or less than half that and a good area for me to maybe start a family in". And let's face it, if he IS thinking about starting a family then the best thing he could do for his kids is earn as much as possible so they can get the best education etc.
  18. He's leaving Arsenal because they won't pay his £100k a week wages, why on earth would he come here?
  19. He wasn't really playing with freedom though. He even said himself in interviews that playing more centrally means he has to be more disciplined and track back more.
  20. Or maybe that he just isn't going to get much game time if he stays with us? I doubt this move was money oriented from any parties angle.
  21. Happy with nearly all the performances there.
  22. Was it that Jim Beglin bloke saying that? What a numpty.
  23. It's a Pompey conspiracy!!!!
  24. Why take Guly off? Christ, even when he plays well he isn't given a chance.
  25. But it's not, so that question is entirely f*cking pointless.
