Yeah, there were 7 shots on target. You're usually very accurate and balanced in your posts Ladysaint, what on earth made you say something like that? A few too many before the game perhaps?

And we won 3-1 away to Hartlepool last year, under Pardew. This whole "we don't do well away to sh*t teams" thing is utter rubbish. We lose/draw every now and then just like every team does.

Please tell me what was odd about the starting eleven? (Without using hindsight, which Adkins quite obviously could not have had when he picked the team).

One of our top scorers ffs. As for the original idea...Lambert, Barnard, Guly, Lallana, Oxo, Chaplow and Hammond/Morgan. I make that 7 players to somehow fit into 6 positions in midfield/up front. Unless we're suddenly going to go 3 at the back?

No he didn't. In fact, after half an hour the commentators were saying he was one of our best players, making good runs and closing down the defence well.

I'm sure fans of Posh, Hudders and Bompey are saying exactly the same. And they drew AT HOME.

I can only see Connolly and Holmes being let go out of that list.

If you watch the highlights he's actually marking his man - although not very well, admittedly. He is not "in their penalty area".

I do rate Seaborne but I have to say if Jaidi had played I certainly don't think we'd have conceded the goal just before half time, he'd have been straight onto it and headed it back out to the half way line.

And how many times has Morgan sliced a shot? The game Benjii was referring to Prutton scored with a lovely finish.

Changing the goalposts already? As I said, Morgan is a great player but still a bit inconsistent. Hammond for me is very underrated by our fan base just because we expected him to be a goalscoring CM when he signed, and he hasn't really done it like Chappers has.

Hasn't had a look in since Pardew was sacked. Just saying.
