Someone made the point earlier that the state should never have control over it's citizens right to life - completely agreed, but what if the decisions were only ever made by jury? Fwiw, there have only ever seen 1 or 2 cases where i've felt the death penalty would be justified.

I can only imagine people got wound up about him not wearing a jacket - in summer, when nearly all the people outside were wearing Saints shirts and shorts.
