  1. Well this obviously isn't getting anywhere. If you want to renew, then do so, if you don't then don't. Nothing we can do to make your mind up for you.
  2. Hmm true I suppose - but then if, for example, Butterfield has a blinder, sets up a goal and nothing gets past him, but then Richardson does twice as well in training that week, who should get the next starting slot? Surely whichever you choose the other is going to be completely demoralised.
  3. Really? Not sure I believe that, the ticket office have been wrong before...probably 8,000 tickets left before the itchen north opens, which would leave around 11,000 left altogether.
  4. Training and matches are two different things - as long as Butterfield stays solid there is no real reason for Adkins to risk putting Richardson in just because he looks better in training.
  5. Well Richardson was in the team of the year last season, and we've only seen him so far when recovering from a nasty injury. As I said, when he gets a run in the team like Butterfield has, I think he'll show to be much better. Unfortunately it could work out that Butterfield stays solid till the end of the season and Richardson ends up asking to leave, and we'll never get a chance to find out.
  6. I've got a horrible feeling it'll be under 20k...
  7. I defended my opinion, much in the same way you do.
  8. It's a nice feeling, picturing that happening
  9. When Cortese speaks about the 5 year plan he is talking about the whole club, including the Saints foundation, the training ground and redevelopment of the stadium. He won't walk away just because one aspect of the plan is a little bit harder to achieve.
  10. Richardson hasn't had a run in the team like Butterfield has, and I think if he got it we would see he is much better. That's not to say that Butterfield hasn't been very solid though.
  11. They're expected to win, so if you're prediction comes true then they clear are "doing" expectation.
  12. I f*cking hate that c*nting Nani. That injury wasn't serious, he ran over to complain to the ref and then fell over again clutching his face...then was stretchered off holding his leg.
  13. It's a science fiction film...if you accept the premise that it's possible to clone dinosaurs from DNA, it's pretty much a given they can increase their growth rate.
  14. I'm assuming things like "player X is obviously used to playing at a much higher tempo than asked to today" will fix itself when they've played a few games in that formation? Also MLG, I think Morgan should have "looks for the pass rather than the shot" as a preferred move.
  15. Agreed, but he hadn't been his usual self for a little while. Then he gets dropped tuesday, has a bit of a rest and gets back to normal yesterday. Well done to Adkins, IMO. Honestly don't think Chamberlain would have made any difference against Walsall, as creating chances wasn't our problem.
  16. Do those stats include cup games? We had a few of them january and feb, remember.
  17. Looking at Dronskisaints view above - "AOC -8- Keep thinking that he'll burn out but he terrorised their defence" - perhaps it was right to put him on the bench last tuesday, despite what Merrington and a fair few on here have been saying?
  18. Not true, our biggest results came playing 4-4-2 (Hudders, Walsall and Rovers away).
  19. Merrington was picking up mainly on Jaidi, not sloppy passing as a team.
  20. You only got £60?
  21. No-ones saying we have a right to win well, just that we should do.
  22. Fluid play, but you tell them to stick to their position?
  23. Could well happen, Jaidi was knackered today by all accounts, and Yeovil should pose less of a threat than Colchester.
  24. Gotta be a win - hopefully a nice 3 or 4-0 leading up to some tricky games. I'm gonna go for 4-0, Lambert twice, Lallana and Fonte.
