Not sure how your logic works there. I was over it as soon as the final whistle went, but seeing as this is a forum for discussing football I still gave my opinion on the game.

Played our usual possession game well enough, but the ball just wouldn't f*cking stick in the final third. Lallana was taking one touch too many for me, and our crossing was woeful. As others have said though, something just didn't feel right even on the way up. We learn, we move on - we get three points on tuesday.

That's pretty much exactly the same statement X, Y or Z player has been coming out with since pre-season.
