Isn't Chelseas team a lower average age? Their starting line up had two players over 25 and none over 30 - Liverpool's had 6 over 25 and 2 over 30.

I don't agree but I do believe playing his tactics in the Prem would be suicidal.

I don't actually think he should go but I have never believed the tactics he wants to use, even when we were using them successfully, would keep us up in the Prem. We'd get torn apart unless we managed to somehow sign 5-6 £50million players.

I'm not sure what you're looking at, Whoscored has Downes at a 6.97 average rating across the season, Smallbone at a 6.72. Only Arma and KWP have a higher rating than Downes (apart from Tella and JWP but not including them for obvious reasons).
