Well, at a guess from a very long distance away... The opening statement from the Pros (sic) contained an enormous amount of detail about dates and contracts and internal processes and, let's face it, obscure Account Names going back a long time. We coud assume either they had some incredibly efficient Plods on the case Or Maybe ?

OK keyboard plugged back in and slept on it. Still woeful. When we get pressed like that, we REALLY need to have the ability to hold the ball up front. Guly really is not a bad nPc striker but what he shows is how good RL & AL's first touch is. DC went missing completely - his scuffed shot when put in by a horrid pass by Danns showed a total lack of self confidence, his body langague after the miss showed a lack of intensity. Falque showed promise - he had a good touch and did the simple stuff on the few occassions early in the first half when he got the ball. (Which was like what 3 times?). But that was the point - it was promise - he wasn't ready for a start Guly had 3 players around him whenever the ball came to him - showed that the midfield were slow and predictable with their passing - in fact my thoughts in the first half were that the pitch seemed very "bobbly" - it wasn't it was again first touches were poor. Was Harding really that bad? Or was he made to look that bad. In the first 20 minutes or so Leicester had 2 or 3 men attacking him. Didn't listen to DM so I guess he was moaning again about us not blocking off the wings. I don't blame him for their first goal - we lost possession easily again in the centre and Mills played a quick ball, Harding was trying to break forward in support and we just killed ourselves. Yes he should have done better against Nugent but he started 2 yards behind him and tbere was cover. Jos again two stunning block/tackles but he was just trying to plug the many gaps. Second half Guly was getting the ball further up the field, even though they both seemed to stand around or run into alleys SDR & Holmes changed the way that Leicester were tearing us down the flanks and we looked less awful. Look. ALL teams have injuries, all teams have to make do with what they can find to get 11 out on the pitch. That excuse is blinding us to the key problem here. Teams have learnt how to stop us playing. Our "complex" "confidence based" movement of the ball is a thing of beauty when it works or we are given time to play. The THING is that we aren't acknowledging reality - which is sometimes you have to FIGHT for the right to play OR sometimes you won't have the players in the side who are good enough or match fit enough. There has been no Plan B. We have not developed a style or system to play ugly football. If you bring in a 3rd choice squad player they will never be as good as your first choice. We should play to the strengths of what we put on the pitch NOT what we want to play when everything is going well. There is always more to football than systems, shapes and styles. Sometimes you need to roll your sleeves up and battle. Last night it became clear very quickly we did not have anyone on the pitch apart from Jos & to an extent Fox who were prepared to do that. We were all too nice. The crowd booed the display, the lack of energy and the lack of fight. they have every right to do that in the same way they have the right to applaud and cheer when they create Champagne football. The lack of fight is going to be a real problem thee next 3 or 4 games and THOSE results will affect our confidence on the ball. IMHO I am a little concerned after watching that

Sean St Ledger was immense tonight. Yet is available (according to our 'tater) for around 650k. Wellens & Danns covering for the missing Andy King made our 3 CM's look awful. Danns was a freebie. Yes the mentality and team dynamic is critical to us but there are players out there WCDAJFU and would be better cover than we have

Think what was worse than the performance was listening to the local commentator rolling out a series of facts, one of which was we'd taken 4 points from our last 4 home games. (No idea if he was right as during the game he called Hooiveld Martin AND Hammond - Harding Fact is we have now been poor for about 6 weeks with a couple of stutters back into form. IMHO it is not wrist slitting time, BUT some of our lads HAVE run out of steam

Very very poor. No balance, no tempo in the first half, Falque is going to look like Messi in a side that knows what it's doing and has played together more than once. But that wasn't us today. Sure Leicester did their homework but they attacked en masse and defended en masse and we looked slow and tired. Jos has done a Hamstring so we are left with Martin Fox & Cork as our CB options next week by the looks of it. We need players in, OK so we have an "injury crisis" with 5 players out, but we are still 3 or 4 players short of what we need. Lee & Falque may be two of those once they settle and learn the names of their team mates but we need to buy better than we have already got and fast, because they will cost a lot more next season. Cracking ball from Mills to Nugent for their opener, woeful marking for their second, but could have been 4 in the first half. Schoolboy finishing from Connoly when we could have taken the lead seriously did not help the evening. Woeful is the only term I can think of On the positive side? NA has NEVER beaten Leicester. We don't have to play them again *****il potentially the Play Offs) Guly just looks knackered

Leics have done their homework giving us NO space at all to get going with new player in we don't have the fluidity of movement or confidence yet, Cork misses but was route one to Guly nice flicvk to Morgan Need to work on the shape at HT badly

nice touch by Falque sets up FK nice move close we've perked up

Cracking ball from Mills sets up Nugent, Bollix But we had been poor no tempo

Lol keep up! I bought access to Al Jazeera but it wouldn't work in the decoder on my telly so they put in a 2nd dish, but downstairs telly couldn't cope with two feeds so they installed the Footie upstairs in the bedroom... Anyway an hour of work cables down the staircase & IT's WORKING! (Well, nearly, can't get the English channel yet but I have Araic so looks like DM on wireless - hell I hate technology I was pushed to get off my butt by the appearance of saggy on Sky News. no way I was gonna watch that. He seemed quite tense, nervous, anxious, why I'd go so far to say he looked decidely twitchy, and the reporter didn't paint a very rosie picture of his chances
-
Jeez why TODAY of all days. I've got a busy evening ahead of me re-wiring the fecking Satellite so I can watch the footie on my flat screen and I know if I go downstairs, do that, cook dinner & have a beer I'll have 240 pages to catch up on. Oh in other news - didn't someone post that the London Gazette gets published at 3:30 - so about 8 minutes to wait for more fun then

Yes you can - click on post New Thread in Lounge. There is room for two - we are viewing the proceedings to look for nuances and pointers to what happened at poopey. It has ramifications for them as even IF they have a miracle savious at the last moment, they could (a la Luton or even Swindon) have major impact on their position. In the Lounge there can be a thread that comments on "Arry, on football in general, on it's impact on Spuds and England. It's no big deal - us nutjobs are happy with where we are but would also I am sure have some omg Spud moments as well
-
Former poopey Boss in being involved with prossies. No shock there then
-
Yeah they can up the headline figure but how much CASH NOW do they offer
-
Question. Who paid Comical Andy last time round? That helped the club survive last time round? Not put a penny in Another great myth from the PlaySkool that the few inhabit

Ah ha..... Date Night Will be more fun on here than the original movie
-
Yippee! Although their web site didn't show it, the game is on Al Jism tonight. They were advertising it late last night. Might mean for those without Sat access that there will be a decent stream again. Now to unplug the decoder upstairs swap it with the one downstairs retune it and.... Oh sod that will watch it in bed!
