  1. Crouching Tiger Hidden Admin Superbad (Actually that title doesn't need changing at all) The Saints Supremacy Grosse Point Deduction
  2. OK that was a fun diversion. Now back to reality. There is NOT a WUP in place at this time, as it is not yet published in The London Gazette. Which leaves our Thread Insolvency & Banking Division Teams the task of monitoring said Gazette for the first Official Sign and rushing that news out to our Analytical & PR Teams........... So that everyone else can finally have a total complete and utter ROFL
  3. Think we have a winner peeps. Mind you Eric & I have been a little ahead of the game on this and we are trying out a new play over here before we move it over to poopey to run and run for the next 9 years http://www.miserydubai.com/ Buy your tickets now! you know it's either this or MORE stories from the golf in Abu Dhabi at the end of the week!
  4. As Eric is away getting his nuptials I think it is down to me for the input from over here.
  5. Agree. Hopefully with Lee coming in DC playing well up at Forest & Ricky back Guly can also be given a rest and get set up for the run in

  7. Christ on a bike! Football Club Former Football Club owner x 2 Former Football Club Manager Local MP Local Mayor Truly. We haven't needed to waste 1000+ posts taking the p1ss out of the city, they do it so well themselves
  8. Well, randomly, we will soon be ONLY 25 pages from the magical 1,000 mark. So I just hopped back in time to 2009 and page 25 to see what gems existed back in the old days. It really is astonishing that we are still saying the same and asking the same questions. Anyway here's a sample to  or at
  9. I'd say ouch, but then seeing as The Legendary Rallyboy is only allowed 3 a day - that's a fine effort
  10. Well, considering the last nutter ran away Screaming from the rooftops It's The Wolf! It's The Wolf! I think most of the planet may have got the message now. Only hope after Dodgy Companies will be a Bad Company

  12. Front page of News tomorrow?
  13. Football Creditors includes any unpiad Playeres Salaries but also Agent Fees So Etuhu signed did his agent get a fee? has he been paid?
  14. So they still have a rabbit. Right now they say they owe CSI nothing (to avoid a points penalty for unfair advantage when they don't pay it back) But IF they elect for or Chinny or AA puts them into admin, what is the betting that the 10.8mil once again rer-appears. Add Football Creditors (well at least any players wages) to the 10.8 and HMRC are outvoted AGAIN on a CVA
  15. OK so THIS is freaky http://www.emirates247.com/news/emirates/uae-temperature-set-to-dip-to-an-almost-freezing-1-c-today-2012-01-22-1.438804?utm_source=dlvr.it&utm_medium=twitter Wet and windy conditions will continue to prevail in the UAE this week, according to weather forecasters at the National Centre of Meteorology and Seismology (NCMS). According to the NCMS forecast for today, minimum temperatures are set to test 1°C in the UAE’s mountainous regions while internal areas could see temperatures dipping to a nippy 5°C and coastal areas could see minimum temperatures of 13°C. I mean that's like WTF? We may have Air Conditioning, but we sure as sh1t ain't got no form of heating!
  16. Reebok Trainers (better fit) Timberland Boots Nautica Chinos* Arrow Work & "posh" leisure shirts* Polo's American Eagle Lee or Wrangler Jeans* Debenhams 100% Cotton Socks Shorts / Cargo Pants (when travelling) Molecule in Thailand - awesome quality & price Then anything else in a sale or that leaps out. The * brands simply because they are the best cut/fit for me, Levis, just never fit right for some reason Down here everything for work has to be totally 100% Cotton as when it hits 50C in the summer any amount of "plastic" means you are just soaked. Golf Shirts I very occassionally buy Nike Dri-Fit, but otherwise whatever I get given, (had $400 worth of shirts in 2 weeks over Xmas for the Voluntary stuff I do. These days tends to be Greg Norman or Cutter & Buck. Shorts - Adidas Dri Fit. Socks - Green Cotton in Thailand - I buy about 10 pairs each trip to stay stocked up Most of my general clothes shopping is Export Shop or XL for Men in Bangkok. They are like an outlet store and sell surplus stuff from Thai factories - branded Tee Shirts at about 2 quid each, so I go for quantity - we can get through 2 or 3 a day in the summer here! Tends to be random one trip they have nothing 6 months later I buy about 10 Tee Shirts
  17. We did not go to a Court of Law and submit a document saying that we were not in financial trouble. They Did. We did not try and dispute the amount owed. They Did. We sought Compliant Solutions. They sought whatever they could find. We did not try and dispute the Rules/Law regarding VAT. They Did. We did not suddenly change the published Creditors Figures at the last minute which altered the balance of votes for a CVA solution. They Did. We paid all our players what they were owed from their time with us. They did NOT (Sol) Anything else I've missed?
  18. Interesting 1st post. Welcome aboard. One comment from memory. I have read in the mess regarding the Television Rights for WRC, that NOS were alleged to owe 3 mil to somebody (probably WRC) So potentially Chinny is even more out of pocket than he imagined. It may be that his Admin of CSI gamble caused more problems than it solved One other issue that we should not overlook is that Chinny is not a UK based Businessman. It is extremely possible that his knowledge of the nuances and the like of UK Company Law and of course UK Negotiation Techniques is not as strong as say someone who has spent all their life in UK Business. It is quite possible that a perfect storm of mistakes has led to where they are. IF Chinny has miscalculated, then it will cause some releif (or even) entertainment up the road to go with their pain, considering how unpopular he is.
  19. OK now this starts to make sense. Chris Akers left on (I Think) 12th Jan, so he probably knew what was coming if they only had 5 days left to get 1.6mil out the door to HMRC. So again, this could make Lumpitts position more difficult. PCFC are NOT in admin, even though he talks as if it is. (Clearly they ARE in De Facto Admin, just that this is a poor excuse at a cover up to stop from getting the points penalty). So a Director leaves, they cannot pay a major bill, yet it takes 10 more days for that news to filter out of the club. I'd wager a guess that they have been technically insolvent since a couple of days before Akers departed.
  20. Question to you guys with access to Credit Check Web Sites. Why did they NOT show a WUP from HMRC? Has that only happened in the past day or so? To those running UK companies. What date in the month is HMRC Tax & NI normally due? It just seems a very odd way for this to have come out on a Saturday. What did AA have to gain from keeping quiet during the week? Or was this what his 48 hours statements was all about? He knew it was coming.
  21. Let's hope this isn't TCWTB http://www.telegraph.co.uk/news/uknews/9029613/UK-ticketholder-wins-41-Euromillions-jackpot.html
  22. Was wearing a FLEECE today to the Mall. Future Mrs D_P wore a Hoodie to work. Wrong, very wrong
  23. Ok. Today was the day that the World Changed. For the past few years I've followed this thread. I've had the chance to analyse information and draw conclusions. Totally by accident while demonstrating a product, I accidentally (BUT with approval) gained access to information in a way that would have made the NOTW feel embarrased, and so I had to couch my posts in oblique ways. I never acted on that information and never posted it on here just sat and typed garbage with a grin on my face knowing what may be coming. Personally I expressed the opinion that the pain was deserved by the many idiots, but I commented that the true fans were hurt by the mockery that their club had become. I for one advocated the continuing pain, I did not want the Toast other than in a witty joining in manner. I felt that for the idiots, "Death was too good for them". Let's face it, the PL relegation & 9 points was nothing for what they had for 5 years, I will NEVER forget the first Forum Match at SMS, while we were in admin, parking up & eating our Fish & Chips in the car thinking we would never be coming back again. I had heard Rupert on a phone call trying to save us, I was aware of the incredible efforts made by Andrew Cowen long into many nights and early on many morning as he scoured the world for a COMPLIANT solution to our problems that helped the small investors and saved the club. I have watched this joke continue, I have like many sat in amasement at the lack of pronouncements by the FL on the Club they were watching so closely. I feel the pain of Mero and the boys in Deacons in Salisbury, but now, finally it is too much. To the Directors and idiots - you have moved from a Laughing Stock, you are no longer embarrassing yourselves. You are now just Wrong. Your last great hope was someone who made LLS at Bompey look Balanced, forget the Points Deduction for financial Impropriety, you now deserve Points Deductions for Bringing The Game we all love into Disrepute. It is now time to die. I will mourn you with your true fans, and I hope that you can rise from the Ashes. Enough now, go
  24. Here is a bet, If Lee doesn't sign because something has gine wrong then I will come back and say I was wrong and apologise. In return I expect Alps. Wade & Vectis who tell us it can be done in a day to also come back and apologise. Think that is fair. meanwhile there is a BA flight at 11:10am that lands at 14:45 tomorrow with one seat left in Business Class if you want to get on to check, but Virgin at 11:35 arriving at 15:15 is wide open and 200 quid more expensive
