Just back from the remake of Rocky 3 You know the one where Rocky goes up against the big bad Mr T... This one was cracking and made sweet by the Barmy Army turning up & signing the Rocky them as Robert nailed Tiger on the last green to win.. Alistair Cooke was the only England player who had the nerve to show his face today, but he still copped flak from everyone who saw him. So yes, the Barmy Army have at least had something to cheer, trust me their comments about the team's performance down here wouldn't have got past the swear filter.

I have a one Rupee coin from Pakistan. Can you get poopey to arrange a DHL collection from me? -
In other news. I met MLT today. (WOO HOO!) But more importantly Speaking to my Golfing Journo who also covers football the basic on the "Court Case" was "doesn't look good does it? seems that there may have been quite a lot of people in the media who maybe didn't love him as much as people thought. A lot of people have taken some time out to go back through their notes and start wondering whether it is worth digging up and into some old stories" "So says I you're saying that even IF he gets off he's still gonna get screwed" " Haha don't be daft, if I answer that I know it will go straight onto your thread as "the media" are laying in wait for him" Oh did I mention? MLT was stalking Tiger today

OK pics as promised Midday in the middle of the desert Dress code lol Is this REALLY a Test Match or is it Village Cricket OK final woo hoo story. (Sorry it mentions Golf but then gets MUCH better) So early start today, standing watching Rory, Tiger & Luke on their first Tee. (Like 3 Sporting Heroes) When I spot a tall slim "elderly" distinguished looking Gent in a Blue suit rushing up to get into place... Stone me, it's CMJ, right behind him Bumble & Michael Vaughan (in shorts - pretty poor effort that) Bringing up the rear looking very dapper was,,, Sir Ian. I can't decide whether to go for my phone camera or my marker pen to get the autograph so end up simply smiling & nodding & The great man smiles back - Wow... Future Mrs D_P says - who was that? (hey she gets Twenty20 & Tests now but I haven't got onto history yet). So I say it's my second greatest Sporting Hero. Clicker from Getty Images is next to me asks "Oh, so who's your #1". Matt Le Tiss of course I say... To which he says - better go over and say hello to him then - he's just over there and OMG there he was right up the front right next to Tiger! So of COURSE we go over, quick chat and a handshake and all the while the camera is in the fecking car! Anyway one magical 5 minutes at 7:40am local time today. Sometimes I'm an a**hole, Sometimes I'm the luckiest c*** alive. Today all my heroes in one place. Thank you Big Man upstairs for that. But WHY did you ruin a grest day by letting us lose late wickets? Even the Press & TV guys were gawping

Why do loads of people not rate De Ridder?
dubai_phil replied to hypochondriac's topic in The Saints
I'd say the reason he gets some stick is "footballing brain" As an example Theo Walcott vs AOC - a debate often heard. SDR has all the attributes but as others have said, runs down blind alleys, picks up silly bookings - on Monday for example he gave away a soft free kick in a dangerous position just outside the box. I put it down to adjusting, I think he is slow to adapt and that is why he has not started much. But that CAN come with experience, so not giving up hope on him -
And not many held their hands up yet. Meanwhile this is now a complete disaster. He was FREE? Must be rubbish after all then. Why were you getting so excited about him. My citeh supporting mate this afternoon

Good start by England in Scabby Dhabby. Dropped catch by Strauss, one just short & a missed stumping could prove costly, great spell by Broady. Popped over from my Golf briefings it has 2 with the stands Barmy Army happy to sit out in the Sun, players WAGS out laying around on the grassy banks with their Kids. Free admission so better crowd than Dubai. No beer available and only two places to get a drink - a Biryani and coke from a bottle - lol Got some pics but really rushed today fitting in work, Golf prep & the Cricket, camera still in the car - gotta be back down there at 6:40 so a 4:30am start no time tonight Camera men in main stand wearing Thermals & Ski Wear - lol it's the Desert FFS great sign on the fence though Our Dress Code Please Keep them on Good afternoon session from the Trumpet player and a LMFAO rendition of The Lion Sleeps Tonight with what sounded like a real Soprano doing the squeaky bits - quality Now all we have to do is bat properly....

I see from some quotes that the "it wasn't the club's fault that we got crooks & cheats to run us. Oh dear. Peter (freedom of the City) Storrie publicly endorsed http://www.thespoiler.co.uk/2009/10/09/who-is-ali-al-faraj/ Al Mirage http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Ali_al-Faraj Every skate always bungs the blame, but never mentions the person with most links to the debale - Pini Zahavi Now where was that Gloating Post about his exclusive on the Arab Billionaire buying them. Every owner has been passed by the board of directors of the club, the same board who they worshipped. Before Jo Ca how many were turned away? CSI truned down by Bompey and from some posts Nicola, welcomed with open arms again even WITH all the information in the public domain. At least Rupert never let Helpmerhonda and others past the door and fought tooth and nail to keep Let's go Wilde out, but oh no the tune has now changed, owners shafted the club - well most of those owners were endorsed by - The Club
-
And I'll be at the Derby game 18th when we can all have a damned good sing song about it!
-
Oh met one of my Journo mates from Race to Dubai this morning (Trust me I've had a busy day pics on Gen Sports later) Anyway his comment was.. Wow, thanks for that link. That thread is simply amazing. You guys seemed to know everything at least a month or more before we even got a sniff in the press. I read a lot over Xmas & New Year, have to say my other half thought I'd gone nuts when I kept bursting out laughing. I'd love to find a way to acknowledge it all

In other news. Their attendance will be down for Saturday.... 8 skates at the Test match today with a pcfc flag

Well I find this funny. My mate Tiger is back here this week - Abu Dhabi. (groan from you lot) Ironically, he is being paid an appearance fee of US$2,5000,000 (we're all in the wrong jobs) Which, thanks to online currency convertion works out to be exactly 1,600,000 Pounds - which is how much poopey need Dear Lumpitt - wanna save your club? Go learn golf, FAST

Wow. -
Another little gem that came out of Lumpitts interview. CSI pumped in 10.8 mil at the start of the season. (They seem to have forgotten that BTW) AND YET - they still have a cash flow crisis in Dec & January..... Because they have to make PAYMENTS FOR PLAYERS. So, they REALLY are like a Heroin Addict. They received 10.8mil and STILL spent EVEN MORE THAN THAT - money they did not have. AGAIN. (Oh yes heard this line? Somebody was going to give them money sometime in the future) pcfc Board of Directors, leading exponents of The Gordon Brown School of Financial Prudence
-
Legally? No idea. As far as the FL goes? Whack Major Points deduction - Will be minus 10 for going into Admin and more for failing to exit a CVA a shappened to Bompey & others
-
Hee's here he's there he's every fecking where, is there ANYONE you don't stalk on Twitter? I thought I was bad stalking my Golf Buddies (Anyone noticed my buddy's down in Scabby Dabby this week and yep I'll be with the Sky crew) (Yawn)
-
Oh and I don't have to apologise because I wasn't wrong. He's arrived. Will the others apologise? Vectis did

Thing is, the same posion has been happening for years, speaking to many of the Salisbury Saints who I went to the JPT final with. They were all regulars but all said the same two words when asked why they do not post. Free speech & opinions not a problem, but we had a mentally unstable poster (his own admission) who posted nothing but negative bile. It took far too long for him to be made gone. Understand they are entitled to an opinion, understand their use of English can be as bad as mine. They're c**nts though. I'm just fried by too much sun

That's 1.6 million earmarked to repay the 6million due to HMRC under the previous CVA. As in here is your 1.6mil Yes where is our April part of our 6mil coming from? No we just gave you that. No you did not. yes we are poopey we don't owe you any money can we have some more now please
-
Can I add just a little bit of cheer to the equation.... HMRC Tax Bill is 1.6mil. However, let us not forget that HMRC will ALSO be VERY CLOSELY watching the performance of the club (and use of future Parachute payments) under the simple motivation that THEY ARE ALSO A CREDITOR UNDER THE CVA. So HMRC will be watching on TWO counts. Even LESS wriggle room

Oh yes it was Oh no it wasn't And I thought Panto season was over for the year Lol
