It is meant to try and make people buy in advance so the club can staff the game properly, open enough stands/refreshment areas/stewards order enough pies etc If fans couldn't phone up or internet to get the cheap ticket then the club has to open up the ticket office and staff it for a possibly large walk up. So far this season we've lost Murty and Thomas to spells of injury. AP commented last night that our bench looked a lot better and it does, but we still have a shortage of cover across the squad as was shown against Torquay. The 1st Team now look good enough to go on a run and push towards the play-offs. But with suspensions for stupid bookings from porr refs, and possible injuries, coming from SO FAR back will be the problem. Lambert missing for a 3 match ban? And the cover at the moment is? Connolly is a good player but is he a lump CF who flicks on and holds the ball up? no so the style gets affected Trottman until January? Then Thomas and Perry. Lallana tweaks his achilles again? We are moving the right way and we have the potential to do something, BUT we will need Strengthening in the depth of the squad Luck with a lack of Injuries and suspensions

Don't worry mate I saw MLT in a pre-season friendly at Salisbury. He was awful, missed about 5 one on one's.. The only thing you can take blame for is that old mantra (which is one of my bugbears) is that youngsters will be inconsistent AND need help and coaching after they leave the Academy. He'll have bad games again soon and the naysayers will be out, but IF he has good parents and a good agent he WILL become a top player in the PL. But he WON'T do it by "doing a Surman" He still needs a couple more years with us

It has been 6 years. 6 totally wasted years. Of always having football fans give us that look when we tell them who we support. You all know it, that look of mixed condescending amusement and sympathy, But now,finally the first signs, those "Green Shoots" of recovery are appearing. We have a long way to go, but finally after all those years the signs that there is HOPE that we may, just may be on the verge of having a team and a club that we can be proud of. If the Great Man up there is listening, please, just this once, PLEASE don't go and find some excuse to take it all away from us.

really enjoyed listening to that. My GF is getting really confused, she can't understand my change in mood after listening to the games. Don't get carried away, playoffs aren't in view yet BUT quite a few teams and their fans above us will look at our last 3 league games (yes I include the Brizzle game) and will start to see our style of play and our results and will wonder how to play us. That is going to make a huge change
