I can understand the calls to bring Jay Robinson back (do we even have a recall on him?) but for whatever reason Tonda doesn’t rate him. Pointless to bring him back for 3 minute cameos. I would rather try and get Brooks again. A winger that can play on both sides and likes to play direct with the ball. I know he’s a bit older now but he’s the perfect fit for me and not getting much of a game this season.

Comes across as a player that thinks he’s too good for the championship and thinks he can do well with minimal effort. I lost count of the amount of times Downes was angry with him tonight.

Definitely one of those games where you want players like Larin, Scienza and Jander coming off the bench to get you over the line. Larin and Jander would have scored those chances that Downes and Dobbin had that’s for sure.

Frustrating not to take one of those 2 big, big chances. 2nd was there for the taking tonight. Would have been some going considering we were still on -4 after 1 game.
