I guess a mixture of Fernandes being the one to do that since he’s come back in and needing bodies in the middle because we’re getting overrun in midfield every game has reined him in a little bit. Plus Downes being utterly shite next to him.

So anyone thinking that they’re currently paying for 50 hours per week for their kids and they’ll be saving over half because they’re getting 30 free hours they actually get to save £10 per day, well for 38 weeks anyway. What a load of bollocks. For a start as already mentioned we hadn’t signed any of those good players by this point in the window so there is no comparison yet. Manning was the weakest outfield player in the team for most of the season. Charles failed to impress at that stage of his career. Downes was the first of the loan signings to come in and that was 100% a Russell Martin signing and nothing to do with Wilcox. Let’s not forget we also signed Holgate on loan who was fucking shite and Stewart bought from Sunderland who was injured all season.
