Or, more pertinently perhaps, drivers that assume they have right of way when joining a motorway. You don't you ignorant t**ts! If there's no space to join the motorway then wait on the slip road until there is (FFS) There is one exception to that rule - you are allowed to cut up drivers that hog the middle lane in this manner... -

I couldn't agree with this more. In fact this is the best suggestion on this thread thus far. It really is. -
So, the BBC have gone from reporting the diluted debt figure (£61m) in the present tense to now saying its in the past: "The club, who were £61m in debt..." Amazing what you can eradicate from history with the stroke of a journo's pen...

Written by a Pompey supporting Tory (double whammy!) but a good read... IMO of course... http://lordpalmerston.wordpress.com/2013/04/09/the-miners-thatcher-vs-wilson/ Extract:

Customer service departments saying "sorry" rather than concentrating on getting things right in the first place Slower pedestrians cutting you up by taking the apex at corners when you've got the inside line People walking out of doorways into a flow of pedestrians without stopping/looking Tourists that expect you to wait several minutes for them to take a photograph rather than walking in front of them The first sheet of a paper on a new toilet roll. People that walk up to an automatic barrier machine at railway stations without getting their ticket out first People that walk up to an automatic barrier machine at railway stations and then change their mind as to which one they're going through at the last minute People that stand on the left hand side of escalators John Prescott Carrier bags full of shopping that always fall over no matter which way you lean them against the wall People that sit in the middle seat of 3 on trains who then expect you to either disconnect your inside arm or shuffle over so that your outside arse cheek is suspended in mid air People in front of you at the till queue in supermarkets who spend ages talking to the cashier after they've packed rather than concentrating on paying and getting the hell out of my way Sanctimonious left wing musicians Pompey fans picking and choosing which parts of their history they want to keep and which parts they want to conveniently forget The water that gets left behind in the conditioner section of a washing machine detergent drawer. Napkins BBC presenters that talk over the first few seconds of a speech at a live broadcast because they can't possibly handover without a flowery introduction People that queue at cash machines perpendicular to the wall so that they block the pavement. Line up along the wall FFS. People that try to read their newspaper in a crowded tube train People that think sorting out the correct change when paying for something is somehow quicker than handing over a £10 note and getting change. People that think the music that they listen to is superior to the music that someone else listens to. -

Blimey....that's astonishing....I counted at least 2 paragraphs containing MORE than one sentence in that piece... And as for this line: "That is what defeating Portpin meant to these people, these doers and not cyber whingers." Defeating Portpin? And there was me thinking they had come to an out of court AGREEment with Portpin instead of "defeating" them in the court case. (The clue is there in the word if you look hard enough Mr Allen) Yes, I know....that's minor detail in the factless land of Portsmouth 'journalism'...

Plenty of multi-million pound players giving the ball away in the FA Cup semi-final right now.
