  1. Yeah, let's keep our turmoil secret....no one will have a clue we're in turmoil if there isn't a banner saying so.....
  2. A mass boycott is indeed the answer....but alas there are too many people on here (and further afield) who fail to grasp the "no pain, no gain" concept - it is a sad fact that we (the fans) need to do something that goes against what the heart tells us we shouldn't be doing. We need to take one step backwards to go several steps forward. Why are there people who can't see that? To say that they couldn't hurt the club they love is a complete false economy. They are ironically hurting the club by this sycophantic head-in-sand stance. (just watch the responses to prove this point)
  3. For those who attended the Forest game this sounds like a clear cut case of a breach of the Sale of Goods and Services Act. Not that your average Saints fan will be arsed to claim the refund to which they are entitled.....
  4. We have a volunteer....
  5. Was Duncan there?
  6. I care because if they score more than us we will struggle to make it to the next round
  7. "Jan Poortvliet then arrived to face questions from shareholders." Baton down the hatches....
  8. Time for a coin / Lowe version of this game.... http://www.sockandawe.com/
  9. Richard Chorley thrown out for throwing coins at Lowe! That should make the story go 'national' !!
  10. Are the press/media allowed to attend the AGM? (as reporters rather than as shareholders)? i.e. will this shenanigans be reported outside of this small fan bubble?
  11. Ask him to email some surreptitious pics from his mobile!
  12. Perhaps Mr Wilde knows his onions afterall.... http://www.saintsfc.co.uk/articles/article.php?page_id=11123 "As time started to run out, the game looked to be heading for a draw, but recent signing, Jack BOYLE had other ideas as he scored a magnificent goal which deservedly won the game. "Boyle, who started the second half on the left wing, was switched to the right with 20 minutes to go and the decision paid off as the Jersey starlet went on a menacing run, taking on three players in the process, before unleashing a fierce shot across the goalkeeper into the top corner with five minutes remaining. "Jack Boyle scored a great goal," Wotte enthused. "I switched him with Kayne McLaggon to pose a threat on the right hand side and it paid off as he scored the goal from fully 25 yards out after showing some good skill to get in that position."
  13. I assume Poortvliet will change his formation/approach for this game....i.e. switch to a defensive 5-4-1 formation in an attempt to secure a draw and a replay at Old Trafford ? It would be financial folly to stick with 4-3-3 in a blinkered loyalty to playing pretty football in defeat. Surely?
  14. Post of the year
  15. This is the picture I took last year. Hopefully gives a few ideas re: attire.
  16. ..
  17. indeed....the 'SOLD OUT!' in capital letters with an exclamation mark is a tad embarrassing....it only goes to highlight how far we've fallen for such an 'excited' OS headline....

  20. Brings a tear to the eye....
