oh noes.

Come on Saints, lets close this one out comfortably please...
-
You missed out Marcelo Salas. IMO one of the most under-rated strikers of the late 90's/early 00's.
-
Who do you want to go up to and down from the Premiership?

The north west clean sweep for me. Blackburn, Wigan and Bolton. 3 places I have absolutely no interest in returning to. Hope QPR stay up as I'm 2 stops away from Shepherds Bush on the overground so nice, easy travel! -
Why have they put money aside for golf?
-
Forgetting Leon Best, Nathan Dyer, Andrew Surman and Chris Baird. All doing good jobs in the Prem.
-
Started singing "we choose our own games, we choose our own games, we are block 43, we choose our own games" at the block 42 mongs the other week. It soon shut them ip.

My my we have some self-righteous ***ts posting on this thread.

Yeah because Tim Krul's are growing on trees aren't they? That's why Man Utd shelled out £22m on David De Gea. To the person who suggested Ben Foster - please god no. No journey men keepers like him, Carson and Robinson. There is a reason they've been all unable to settle anywhere decent.
-
Kelvin deserves his shot in the Prem, should we get there. For the record, McGregor is a better keeper than Kasper Schmeichel.
-
Rachel Riley really is something.
-
Get in there. That is all.
-
Most definitely this. People will use the excuses "no prem experience" and "cant handle big player egos" if we are anything other than in the top 6. The same way the "cortese lacks ambition" and the "liebherrs heart arent in it" if we fail to spend anything less than £20m in the summer. The above is on the basis we gain promotion. I'm taking nothing for granted.

Any more thoughts on my idea for the living for the weekend video mate?!
-
26, from Chandlers Ford but living in London (via a 2 year stint in Spain). First game - unknown. Dad used to keep the door at the Gateway pub on match days so I'd be round the back of the bar with a panda pop and packet of crisps from a very early age. Dad would then take me to the Dell on his shoulders. Expect my first game was when I was 3 or 4 probably. First memory was a League Cup or FA Cup match v Bolton at home. Not sure what year, just remember Barry Horne scored a goal either late in injury time or late in extra time and there was a pitch invasion. First away game was Chelsea away probably was 5 or 6. Was too short to see the match so a policeman volunteered for me to sit on his horse so I could see the game! That sort of thing wouldn't happen today.

Get in. Great result. Happy days.

I must admit I really like Warnock. Comes across well in most interviews and took his sacking at QPR with dignity. As someone else said, there are worse people in football.

If you were any mate you'd persuade him to retire. Both fighters lacked any class or skill, it was practically 5 minutes of two blokes in headgear windmilling each other. Your mate may have won but he was blowing out his arse, looks the wrong age of 40 and will get seriously hurt against a younger, fitter, stronger opponent.

Good thread. About time he got some positive recognition. He was immense today.
-
He was poor today. Got caught in possession time and time again.
-
This is the most important thing.

Just cant take a sport seriously when the domestic tournament is called The World Series. The fact the Japanese and Mexicans are probably better baseball players than the yanks is funny too.
-
My exact feelings too. Really hope Cardiff win and I actually jumped up when they scored. Have a feeling Liverpool will turn things round, they seem to be getting a lot of space in Cardiff's area, just no-ones pulled the trigger as yet.

Haha quality insight.
