Agree on that but I would kind of feel shabby - don't like diving at all so, although I'd take the penalty it still wouldn't sit quite right with me. Personally I think that if caught the player should be red carded - if the player is trying to hoodwink the officials then he should go. Might or might not stamp it out but at least the player would know the consequences.

Nothing is impossible but CL in 5 years? Not probable. Mind you looking at how Newcastle are doing this season then I suppose you have to say its possible. 5 years is a long time and anything can happen in that time. If someone had said that Newcastle would be challenging for a CL place at the start of the season I'd have probably all but laughed in their face. Will the same thing happen at SFC?? Who knows but it would be wrong not to at least aim for it. I know for one I'm going to enjoy the ride where ever that may take us.

Agreed - MD 100%. Apart from his defensive duties he was an excellent crosser of a moving ball - if you get time just look at the build up to the Danny Wallace over head kick against Liverpool all those years ago. I think Worthington picks the ball up in midfield plays a blond ball to MD out wide - MD drives forward crosses on the run to Mark Wright at the back post headers back across and DW over head kick - back of the net. Yes MD was sometimes overly aggressive but you have to bare in mind that football was a little different back then with the likes of Jimmy Case, Joe Jordan, Vinny Jones etc giving just as good (if not better) as they received.
