Please be on stand by on Saturday to do this then.

In a country where he'll have more time to look up and think about it, yes.

Mara off Adams on SAA off Dibling on Please

Pompey go 1-0 up and 2-1 down in the space of 2 minutes

Is there a difference? Non-innuendo wise?
-
How many missed passes is that now from Alcaraz?! Baffling how anyone thinks he's anything other than "alright"
-
Wanting a striker is fair enough but these claims of "getting a striker who can actually score" is a bit silly when you take that into account.
-
We have the league's second top scorer...
-
Absolutely fabulous save by Joe Lumley
-
Oh Mara...
-
Alcaraz terrible so far. No doubt he'll escape critisism though,
-
How likely is a stream here do we think?
-
The one where he took us down? I'm not old enough to remember
-
It's valid at any point. You pay your money and support the team so you're entitled to dislike or like the manager for whatever reason you want. Just out of interest, if you're old enough, how did you feel about Lawrie after his first season in charge?
-
I like to think that if we were on a terrible run, he probably wouldn't be sat there smiling and regaling stories of yesteryear like he hasn't got a care in the world. I'd still like him as a person even if I didn't rate him as a manager - I really liked Pellegrino as a person even though he was garbage as a manager.

That presser was so wholesome. I love the way Russ just talks like some bloke down the pub and doesn't sound like he's getting every answer from some script like when you have 5 answers to choose from on Football Manager. Never seen a manager admit so freely to his mistakes either. Bloke's a breath of fresh air.

You mean like that Adam Armstrong of Southampton?
-
Strikers don't just stand around at the far post waiting for a cross to come in so they can tap in anymore. They're also more aware of the overlap and so their hold up play is more prominent. Now a days, a striker can score 10 goals in a season and still have a great season.

A keeper's role has changed A striker's attributes has changed
-
Not really...There's a ton of middle ground. I can't think of a transfer from Scotland to England who's just been "okay"
-
I was just speaking to a friend about this earlier...Every transfer from Scotland to England either ends up a world beater or a complete flop.
-
I thought that was just league games?
-
I also think that modern keepers are judged by the standard or traits of keepers from years gone by. Out of all positions on the field (maybe apart from full back) the role of the keeper has probably changed most. The ability, strength and general practice of your average striker is totally different to how it was years ago. One being the whole "letting goals in at the near post" thing. Every keeper seems to do this now a days and every keeper seems to be ridiculed for it every time it happens. Is it possible that the ball and the person hitting it is now very different that it's now not possible to stop every near post shot? There are probably things that modern day keepers can do (mainly distribution) that keepers of old would have totally struggled with.

Weird thing is, St Mirran fans seem gutted he's going and according to the FB comments on their feed, he seems to have really knuckled down this season and was coming into a good spell of form.
-
How many goals has he actually been responsible for this season though? Sunderland's third, Preston's second and MAYBE Rotherham's? I guess Watford if I am being super harsh but that is every bit Bednerak/THB's fault as well. I feel that he gets the blame for letting goals in that hardly any keeper would have stopped.
