The fact that Small's return hasn't been announced by Saints makes me think another loan move is in sight. I wouldn't be surprised if he played the cup game at the weekend then went out on loan again. Holgate staying can only be good news. I think he'll almost certainly play Saturday too.

VAR isn't the problem, it's the way it's being used. They just need to say what is/isn't offside and what is/isn't handball. Even if they said from now on, if it hits your arm in any context what so ever it's a pen and if any part of you is even slightly offside - It's off. It'd be annoying but at least everyone would know where they stand.

I reckon it's lower than you'd think because he doesn't actually take that many shots. He uses misses a sitter per game but just one of them.

Good on him. As advised though, the how's that for honesty was a bit petty. A simple "I don't want to meet him but hope he enjoyed the game" would have done.
