Trouble is, some work some weeks and not others. It's just much easier if we all just go searching and whoever finds one posts it.

Well who was then?? He was fine in the second half and average in the first half. Nobody else was even close to being "fine". Then again we had Cedric at RB for several years so maybe my standards are just shot to pieces.

No he isn't. He was our best player against Newcastle and average last week (compared to most other players' below average performances). The hate towards him is because he's a Jones signing who'd played with him previously. For the money we paid for him, ff we'd signed him from some midtable Spanish club and his name was Jhamez Breehino, he'd be seen as an "alright" signing.

If we lose this and he gets sacked, imagine telling your grandchildren that Jones' one and only Premier League win and only PL points came at Goodison Park of all places!! That'd be quite something.

I hope, for his sake, he is. If he was, he'd go up very very very slightly in my estimation. If you know you're on borrowed time, fans hate you, employees hate you, you may as well just start taking the piss. If this is the team he ACTUALLY thinks is our best, that's genuinely worrying.

He seems stoned most of the time. Not that I'd blame him.

Since Jones is now "doing things his way" I wonder if that's a 3-5-2 with AMN at RB and Bree in the middle. Hope not because Bree has, somewhat ironically, been one of our better players in his first two games down the right in an attacking role.

Not sure that's a cynic, that's what journalists do.

Just seen the presser. Firstly, utter joke the way he's being crititised for "bringing God into it" when he was asked about it himself. As someone else said on here earlier, there are many reasons to dislike Jones and want him gone, his faith is not one of them. He was asked how he coped with what happened. He answered. If you ask a Muslim on Saturday what they did the day before and they say "I went to the mosque" they aren't "bringing that into it" and if you ask Richard Dawkins what the title of his most well known book is and he says "The God Delusion" - He isn't forcing his Atheism on you, he's factually answering the question. Secondly, Jones lost further integrity by claiming that he was "trying to take full responsibility" for things by what he said. He wasn't, that was a feeble attempt at justification. Why he couldn't just say "Yeah, about that, I was so angry at the defeat and performance, I said a stupid thing I didn't mean and I'm sorry. It was no one's fault but mine"? He may have clawed a tiny bit of respect back there. Thirdly, on a lighter note, anyone else notice that he didn't say "With the greatest of respects" once? I'm thinking he made a conscious effort not to do so!

Though I agree to an extent, do we really want a board that does what the fans want all the time? Isn't that how them down the road got into their mess 12 years ago that they're still nowhere near recovered from?

But he doesn't. He says things like "God willing" which may have Abrahamic connotations but is frequently used by atheists as a throwaway. If he said "touch wood" instead would you accuse him of forcing pagan beliefs on us or bringing his pagan religion in? No because it's just a phrase.

Atheists use "God willing" etc. It's just a phrase. Obviously he probably means it deeper than others. The using his faith against him is ridiculous. It wouldn't be so bad but you know that if Jones was a Muslim, nobody would dare use that to attack him because the public reaction would be very different.

I honestly think most will stay. JWP isn't going to fetch the money we'll want for him. It's only KWP and Stu I think we'll lose. Maybe Perrued but I don't rate him much anyway. There may be some interest in Adams but that can only be good. We know Tella and AA can smash the Championship. I think we're in a much better position to come straight back up (or at least give it a damn good go) than we were last time.

Jan Portaloo will always have a special place in my heart. Then there's Rory Decrap, Fanny Higginbotham and Ralph Hasntaclue. All four personnel in question were actually quite likable fellows though tbf.

Know what?? I'm gonna give him Saturday. He's claimed to be the best manager in Europe - Fine. Back it up Wolves are a few places above us. Maybe they've got a very very very very slightly better squad but to the best manager in Europe, that shouldn't be much of a hurdle. Win 4-0 on Saturday, Keep us up, get to the FA Cup Semi final and then maybe we'll have to eat humble pie. But it starts Saturday, by Jones' logic, we should comfortably win.
