I think it's because simulation is a yellow card offence, not a red and they can't use VAR for that. So the referee would have to be 100% it was simulation which, with that kind of thing is very difficult to spot in real time.

I haven't seen anything from ABK that warrants a move, especially a year into his contract. Some very good games early on but since his recurring injuries he's been average. 6/10 at best.
