Alright we have had a dozen or so games to get used to the diagonal stripe kit...and I like it personally. it seems to represent the new emerging image of the Saints. Back to the future seems an appropriate description. If given the choice at the end of the season would you like to go back to red and white stripes, or would you like to continue with this unique kit.

he was a keeper... if he got through his playing career with all his teeth intact he was either lucky or chicken. :D
-
ironically if we were a PL side and had someone as talented, we would be looking to loan him out... maybe to a Div One side:rolleyes:

goal difference... good chance to catch up a bit

BIG CHANCE HERE THEIR NORMAL KEEPER INJURED HIMSELF WHILST WARMING UP... Lewington league debut...

Seabourne was SUPPOSED have been on the left side of Fonte.... Adkins defends corners with a zonal marking system... defending a corner from the left the 6 six yd box has always been 1 Harding 2 Seabourne 3 Fonte 4 Richy(on this occasion) somehow Seabourne got the wrong side of Fonte and wasn't available to cut out any high ball played into the near post. Now if that was changed Seabourne is not at fault.... but by Fonte's reaction to him after the ball hit the net, Fonte fully expected him to be there, and Harding was giving him daggers as well. It was an absolute mess. Discipline at defending corners is essential If you look at all the other Notts C corners Seabourne is there, in the right place... bolting stable doors after the horse has gone.

is Bart really giving Adkins the 'finger' behind his back.... COURSE NOT! but it's funny what you read into a still picture:lol:

question! have we scored 2 goals in one half under Adkins? Can't think of any occassion
-
because we zonal mark the 6 yd box at corners since Adkins has been here... Where they scored from was Seabournes zone.

Seabournes man given all the room in the world

I really don't know what Keith is actually doing now. I heard he is still employed by the Kent FA, and still runs his goalkeeping school at Tonbridge. He calls it the the 'Football Garage'

he's as good as any. but I would prefer Jim Stannard as I think he will more beneficial to Kelvins wants.. Pressman is more of a disciplinarian, and he will take KD back to basics. I don't think that is what is wanted ATM.. and Bart has never responded to hard discipline. Stannard is more likely to put an arm round him, whilst Pressman would kick his ass. I think Adkins has looked at both keepers closely, and thought hard before making his choice of gk coach, that can only be good for our keepers.

anyone received a reply regarding the complaints about last Saturdays latest **** up over the commentaries? I have emailed them.. as yet not even an acknowledgment
-
He wasn't a real goalkeeping coach HE WAS A COACH WHO TOOK ON RESPONSIBILITY FOR GOALKEEPERS, ON A PART TIME BASIS..and towards the end of his time he did nothing with the keepers. Adkins, being an ex keeper most likely realised that was not good enough
-
"Big fat, Big fat Jim, Big fat Jim Stannard" good keepers coach! A POSITION THAT HAS BEEN NEGLECTED FOR TOO LONG AT OUR CLUB
-
hope Adkins isn't fooled by the equalizer, and gets Barnard on the pitch for the second half.
-
if this squad will only play for one manager and no one else they are not worth keeping
-
Lose this, and we will have to rethink this squad..

You can feel the confidence draining out of us.. and that's giving Oldham a lift
