Fonte is working with a different defence from last season. He will need time to adjust with them just as the new defenders will need time to gel with the team. VVD looks like a great signing, I'm sure Fonte will form a partnership with him over time

Swansea never looked dead. I hope we can follow that example in the games to come. We will be needing that spirit.
