I was never a big fan of it, but now I'm over here i look back on it fondly. Like it or not, it has become a bit of a British institution (In my own mind at least)
I saw one in France once. It was largish, and I saw it split onto two. A few seconds later there was a loud crack. It was pretty awesome, but I wish I knew it was coming so I knew what I was seeing before I saw it.
