The kits were never going to be released before July because the new sponsorship deal only just kicked in. In three weeks we'll know what it looks like and the months of bickering will have been for nothing.

Agree. All I think 'stars in stripes?' means is 'will our stars be playing football in stripes next season?' So it might not be stripes, it might be a sash, Air Florida style etc.

I think he comes across as a very genuine guy in that interview. He doesn't madmouth Saints, in fact he shows us a lot of respect. He clearly just didn't settle in at Southampton, so rather than stay and complain he went elsewhere.

I love that old Dimplex kit! Our new sponsor was decided quite a while ago, plenty of time to make sure it doesn't look 'bolted on'.

I'd definitely keep Gobern. I think he's looked alright when he's played and we can always loan him out if he's surplus to requirements.
