As the other players ignored his plight, it slowly dawned on Camara that the quicksand may have been a trap set by his fellow professionals.

Who moaned when we signed those two? I certainly didn;t and I didn't hear anyone else moaning!
-
How could Paul Hart possibly be better than Pardew? If they make this move Pardew's sacking was almost certainly a personal thing.
-
More whinging for no good reason. They'll get more in. If you wanted one that badly you should have gone to the kit launch.

01271 335708- genius. Got my tickets in no time.

...or does Lallana and Waigo's celebration of Lallana's goal on Tuesday look a tad, ahem, dodgy? http://news.bbc.co.uk/sport1/hi/football/8504209.stm I particularly like when Lallana goes to walk away on all fours as Waigo ****s his leg.

I know what you mean. I hate going to see Saints play. I expect you'll have no issue buying a ticket for the JP Trophy final though... edit- ...should we get through of course!
-
Why did all those people queue up overnight? I phoned this afternoon and got tickets no problem. Am I missing something?

Although I don't want Pompey do disappear, I don't see why I should contribute my money when the owners can't even be arsed to pay their players on time. I would probably contribute if it was just to pay staff though (average Joes who work for the club).

I was hoping for info on how the new strike partnership did in today's game here, but it's all about ormerod and Beattie?!
-
Cheers, couldn't see that news item when I looked.
-
Genius.
-
Well that blows. How are we meant to get tickets sat next to each other?
-
Anyone know the reason why the online sales system won't let me buy tickets for this game? I am not a season ticket holder, but I can't see any reason why I can't buy the tickets.
-
Just another example of physical print losing out to the immediacy of instant web-based formats. They can never really have 'exclusives' anymore because most people already know about news items to do with the club by the time they come to print, so the paper has to write 'creatively'. Unfortunately they don't seem to be very good at producing anything useful or worth reading without making things up.
-
Well they wouldn't have sold the tickets so they may as well gain a bit of publicity and increase attendance with a stunt like this.

I live near Fratton Park and I have a little chuckle to myself every time I drive past their shed of a ground.
-
My mate said that! I couldn't remember and assumed he must have seen it wrong.
-
I was right next to that incident and I beg to differ, but anyway. Lambert worst player on the pitch? He didn't really have much to work with, plus surely Mellis was the worst on the pitch going by your team ratings? I disagree with Waigo being MOTM too but apart from that spot on assessment.
-
Agreed, however you cannot deny that we didn't deserve to win that game! Antonio could have been sent off at the end for an elbow: that could have changed everything. Regardless, we're through! We can play attractive footy in the next round! :-)

I thought he brought some physicality that we lacked. I thought it was mad putting James in the middle when Thomas came on, but Wayne was on the ball a lot and his freshness counted. Nice work AP!
-
Hmmm, closing teams down? Keeping slender leads? Not sure which game you were watching! We were very very lucky today, but then again it's nice to be the team with the luck for once.
-
John Rooney that is; Wayne's younger brother. According to this article we are rumoured to be interested in signing him from Macclesfield. http://www.bbc.co.uk/blogs/paulfletcher/2009/12/the_other_rooney.html#171067 Apologies if this has already been posted. Couldn't see anything on the front page of threads though.

I think that at every Saints home game.

I don't see it as a problem. It gets people singing, and the out of time ones get ignored.
