I wouldn't go so far as to say Gillett was having a shocker. He looked very lively in the first 30 mins and was creating a lot of spaces. Just towards the end though his passing started to go a bit stray and he seems on a mission to get set off. I think Viafara and Safri are simultaneously channeling their negative chi through him.

Have to say Lallana, Holmes and Gillett have looked fantastic so far. Surman and James disappointing.

Will always have fond memories of Beatts. People on here seem to love players who gave there all, but always came short on quality. Beattie always gave his all, but was f**king good to boot. Having said that, I don't think he is quite in the same league as Davies, Moran, Channon, MLT, Shearer etc.
