He was poor. Should have saved the 2nd goal - near post right by him and he didn't even move, just watched it go in. Made 4 saves , 2 of which were simples - didn't have to move either foot, stretch or stoop. The other 2 were punches which went to opposition players. His kicking was poor, didn't manage a single successful pass from goal kicks. Charged out of his area needlessly despite 2 Saints players having it covered, only to head it straight to a Doncaster player. Obviously didn't communicate with either of them. He was bl**dy lucky they didn't score from an easy lob with him out of his area. Couldn't keep a clean sheet against a team bottom of league 1. No better than Baz, and possibly worse.

Going long is by definition more of a gamble than passing short. HTH FWIW I wish our keepers had better long distance distribution. It 's not like it isn't something you can improve by staying behind after training and practicing.
